well my dad is christian(i think) and my mom is buddist. i am always told on how life should be from both ways of religion. its kinda wierd on how one tells me one thing and the other tells me another since they both have different believes. yet my mom is full japanese and tries to raise me in beleiving japanese morals and my dad is white and he tries to teach me other morals. blah. ok. enough about my life story.
does anyone have parents with different believes and religions?

nah, I never got it from my folks on account of they are both Pagan. I just got it from all the kids, and other people that I grew up with telling me my thoughts and beliefs were wrong. To an extent I think that would suck more.
But I did used to date a girl that's parents were divorced so the Mom went all out christian and the dad went Jewish... cause he could.   She didn't really seem to like it either....

I got kicked out of catholic school at age 8 when they found out I wasn't baptised.

Anyone else not baptised?

I got kicked out of Catholic school at the age of 14, for punkish hardcore behaivor, throwing coffe seeds and gum to a saint picture, and putting the picture of Mary the Virgin upside down.
Plus, smoking in the bathroom, drinking alcohol and smashing eggs and fish at my teacher's house, bringing porno at school and having my girly classmates give me head in the bathroom.

but yeah I got baptised.

this has never been a problem, but my parents' beliefs are definitely on different ends of the spectrum. when they divorced, my mom decided to become a full-fledged episcopalean (which is similar to, but not as strict as, catholicism). my dad has always technically been greek orthodox, but it's a *rare* occasion nowadays for him to set foot in the church.
anyway, my mom tends to get preachy when it comes to religion in my life (or, rather, the lack thereof). my dad, on the other hand, is deeply spiritual but always keeps it to himself (yay! no jesus lectures!!) my mom is convinced that one of these days i'll wake up and realize that there is a god, or that jesus is my personal savior or some shit, and doesn't hesitate to make that known on a fairly regular basis.

yay for naughty catholic school boys (and girls) :D

My dad is catholic and my mom is protestant. My dad wanted to have me baptized when I was a baby but my mom wanted me to be able to have the choice when I got older.

I am not baptized... and I dont plan on it... I dont see how dipping myself in water will save my soul.

right now I'm a big ol' clutter of I dont know when it comes to religion. (:

i was given up for adoption by a woman who then became a jehovah's witness, and raised by adoptive parents who were some sort of christians (episcopalian, i think).

i've never been much of anything, as i've never believed in a higher power.
my parents have never bugged me about it, they've been respectful and chill.
my birthmother used to send me all sorts of witness propaganda, finally stopped about a year ago when she realized i just threw it away when i got it.

i was never raised to believe anything. Not baptised. Went to Sunday school as a little girl, but didn't pay attention to god. only the coloring books. That's all I cared about. It's still all I care about. Coloring books rock my world.

Mom is unitarian (a more liberal social action branch of christianity (think matt groening)) Dad is jewish. (yes, we celebrate hanukkah and christmas both)

its interesting having parents with such different beliefs because for me growing up, it was like neither of them could be wrong in my mind because they were my parents, ya know? this may sound sappy, but I think its taught me to be more tolerant of the world religions and how important it is to choose one thats right for you, not what your parents think is right for you. I learned hebrew, was bat mitzvah-ed and at the same time traded off years going to church, but now that im older, I consider myself agnostic. wierd how things happen, huh?

~Happy Hanukkah! Merry Christmas!~

My mother is Catholic, while my father is "agnostic" (I think agnostics are funny...just like most humans, looking for something to fill in the gaps, yet too chicken shit to adhere to any particualr religion. Well, not all agnostics are like that, but most I have seen). I was baptised damn near straight out of the womb. Didn't ever really go to church, unless my mom's relatives were in town. My father didn't believe in forcing any particular beliefs on me. So here I am, completely lacking of faith in anything but myself and my personal experiences. My mother's religious beliefs taught me how silly organized religion is, and my father's beliefs taught me that it is o.k. to lack beliefs.

my whole family consists of missionary and church-starters and pastors, or they work for organizations like World Concern. except for my parents, who sorta believe in that stuff. and me, who doesnt have a fucking clue.

I've never been baptised. My mother came from a strong Catholic upbringing, and my father from a Protestant family.
Wen they got older, they quit going to church, and when they had children, they decided that our religion would be our choice when we were old enough to decide. My sister has gotten into Catholicism, and my brother and I beleive in the Christian God, but don't go to church or anything. I've been very interested in other religions as of late as well.
Anyhow, I'm rambling, as usual :)
