I'm watching FX channel, and on an extremely old episode of Beverly Hills, 90210, the gang is at a rave, and they are buying Euphoria, the drug that is 4 you and for me. The drug that brings new couples closer together.

Funny thing is, that I saw this episode a long time ago, and had no clue what they were doing.

Well, i'm amused at least :)

Oh man 'o man... I have this somewhere on tape... I should compile it with the drug war (E) episode of 'That's My Bush'...
Everything in the 90120 is a classic! from the taking an egg to a mini-market to get instructions to the 'rave' to the music at this event when they get there - the dancers look one part Fly-Girls from Living Color, one part Hammer-TIME!!! the drug dealer with the big '4' on his shirt is great too... so Brandon gets dosed, he starts to feel good.. even when he realizes it he's kinda ok, he's outside connecting the girl that dosed him... Dylan, Brenda & ect. find him, and when they find out he's rollin' BAD TRIP HIM!!! 'how could you Brandon, I guess your not our friend' and then they leave with Brandon's keys and since he left his Mustang parked outside NAF (or some other seedy part of town) it gets totally stripped...Message? ONLY BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO PEOPLE WHO TAKE DRUGS!!! and now for a message from our corporate sponsors Miller Genuine Draft...

thats too funny, i also remember seeing that episode but back then i had no idea what was going on either..
damn 90210 were on top of things back in the day! (well you know, in that horrible media portrayal way - but hell, they were 6 years picking up on it before dawsons!)

Sad thing is... I happened to cruise by on t.v. one nite in 95... stopped to see what was all the ruckus.... And knew exactly what the hell was going on... I laughed my ass off... couldnt believe the whole egg thing... hehehehehehhehehe

do you all remember that episode of Saved by the bell, college years. Zack decided to throw a rave and there were these bad kids who persuaded schreech to steal a can of nitrous oxide from the science lab. Much drama ensued and in the end slater got rid of the bad guys and zach screech and slater went and had burgers or somethin.... that was funny.

You think Saved by the Bell was bad, I remember an episode of Boy Meets World where Corey and his brother were trying to throw a "rave" on the same night as their parents anniversary and it ended up being a huge mess. The kids who were the "ravers" who showed up were pulling of the gnarliest costumes ever...Like they were all wearing suspenders, and brightly colored big floppy hats. It was like a bad music video in the early 90s.

At least the 90210 episode had a little more substance to it. :)

HA!! No, seriously I remember that episode. I had no clue what they were doing but it was "bad!" :eek: Euphoria...oh my!!! :eek: I saw some other show that did something similar but I can't remember what it was....dang...ahh well! But good ol' 90210...ahh back in the day! :)

Alright, so I saw that 90210 episode yesterday :( . I don't even like the show, promise! :p I couldn't believe it when i first saw it. When they exchanged the egg i thought, "well....thats INTERESTING. an EGG?" Then they show up the place, Dillon warns Brenda bla bla bla..i was like "Oh GREAT, a RAVE" then they walk in and I think outloud. "Alright,that's not techno.." After that i was encredibly confused, but I still laughed my bootay off.

That was horrible...lol ahh well! :D

That's hella crazy... I remember that episode but only by the Egg Scene! ...I think the only reason it stuck in my head was because it was so bizarre.

don't forget the episode of 3rd Rock from The Sun.....where Tommy gets invited to a rave and he says he won't go cuz "it's loud, it smells, and everyone's on something" so he goes to a retirement home when he is finally sick of portraying a child and thinks he is in heaven for a few days but then leaves because "it's loud, it smell and everyone's on something"......

after some web searching, i found out that the episode "Rave On" took place on October 4, 1994 (season 2, episode 7). this is the episode where bad bad Emily doses Brandon. hey baby, you can dose me anytime. she also smoked pot in Brenda's bedroom in another episode. what a bad girl! rawr.

one month later (real life time, not sure about 90210 time), Brenda becomes "disfigured" in a fire at an After Dark rave thrown by Steve Sanders at an abandoned house. she then goes on to join a cult.

god, i miss those days. raving-wise, not 90210-wise.

Hehehehe all you young bucks have no idears about the significance of the egg... No idears at all... It woulda been bizzare to me to if I had seen that show when I was like 8 maybe 10...
