anytime after dark on thursday's cool. I'm thinkin maybe at this park I've been to in the u dist, It's kind of in ravenna on 15th and 60somethin. It's a hella cool place for spinners to meet, nori showed me originally. Even if It's raining there is this huge bridge you can spin underneath.:eek:

Hey siddie, my precious. This is my first post on the board. Hooray and it's in response to you sweetness. :)

Anyways. Last night kicked my ass. It was great to have a bunch of kids come down to spin. Good times. I'm gonna be sore for a while.

I don't know about the locations though. It seems to me that it may be illegal for us to
1) Burn driftwood... so we should encourage everyone to try and bring firewood if they are able
2) Burn any type of wood outside of the designated firepits.
3) Pouring chemicals onto the fire.... kinda stinky :)

I was feeling like maybe there was a little danger last night of fines. I believe (though I'm not sure) that having a fire in that spot could endanger the adventure. I know that no park authorities showed up, but I'd hate for that to happen. Sucks cause the spot is super-fab, but I'm a little nervous about not following the rules.

I'm gonna be there next Sunday, and I'm planning on going early to try and snag one of the firepits down on the main beach area.
It'd be really cool if all you kids wanted to come keep me company and make some fire down on that part of the beach.

Let's do this, but let's do this safely, k?

I just read the last reply... about things being illegal... No worries here. The cops down there don't give a shit about shit, let alone burning driftwood. Also 9 times out of 10 the cops won't come to where we we're spinning fire lastnight. One time we had 3 pipes going, 2 people loading, we were highlyintoxicated, burning driftwood, and there were tons of minors with alcohol and all the cop did was tell us to go find somewhere else to go. Then later the same exact cop walked by us while we were toking on a phatty and said,"I see youfound someplace to chill" Anyways, everything down at the garden is chill and we don't have to worry about... ummm... shit. So I'll see ya'll down there spinnin next sunday:p

Im kiddin I know... NeWays... Reason I like that spot is that there is the hill that BLOCKS the wind from the south ... Plus I dont think we'd have that many problems if maybe we actually BUILT a lil fire pit... That thing we had that nite was pretty tite.... Unless anyone knows of someone that has some like LAKEFRONT property or something so we DONT get into any trouble hahah ;)
