Piercing in WA

Anyone know about piercing in WA for 13 year olds? I have asked one of my other friends way to many questions and didn't want to bug her anymore.. And I've gotten multiple answers from different people.

And also if anyone knows any good places.

If you are under 18..your parent or gaurdian has to go with you and sign for it.

ear lobes and possibly cartiladge are the only things that are done under eighteen by law

and i am not even certain about cartiladge.

actually, they'll pierce anything but genitals and female nipples if you are under 18. I got my eyebrows pierced when I was 13, and have had no problems ever since as long as I have my momma sign. I dunno if they would do surface work and what not on you, but if you want basic piercings, like your lip/toungue/etc., they should have no problem. I say go for it.

The things that I like the most are labret, septum and lip.. I like nape piercings but I know they wouldn't do that.

um, any reputable studio will not pierce anyone under 18. 'specially someone who is 13.

under washington state law, anyone who pierces/tattoos/etc. a minor could be arrested, put in jail, fined or sued. it's considered child abuse (body mutilation). not only that, any kid can walk in off the street with an 'adult' and say 'hey, yo, this is my mom, she's re-married and has a different last name as me, can she sign?', get the 'signature', go home, have the parent(s) flip out and sue the studio and/or piercer.

every place i tried to get pierced at when i was 17 that i had researched and heard good things about refused to pierce me, even with my father's consent. i ended up getting it done at a sketchy ass studio in kent and it got infected.

just wait until you're 18. seriously. than go to superstar or slave to the needle or laughing buddha.

basically, they can pierce you, but what misha is saying (and i agree) is that any reputable place wont pierce someone that young. not because they cant, but because they choose not to. most people wait till they are legal for a reason.

yeah, you should wait. unless you look older- then go to golden body ring, they rarely i.d. But once you ARE 18, tattoo evolution in everett is a good place.
