Changing Event name for calendar..

So I post in upcoming parties but I need to change the event name (which I can't do by editing my post..unless I'm mistaken??)

Is this the best way to change an event name as well? Should I make a completely new thread - with the proper event name, them have a mod merge the old thread with the new one???

you should be able to edit it by clicking the calendar, then clicking your event, then clicking edit
