Does anyone know how to enable the [img] and HTML codes in your preferances? I am trying to attach my personal sig but it says my [img] and HTML coding are OFF. So where do I go to turn them back on??

And in answer to your question, I believe these settings are immutable to prevent signatures from getting even more cluttered and huge than they already are.
If you have an image you want to associate with yourself, put it in your profile, so people that want to see it can choose to do so.
