chat not working

i was able to get into chat for awhile, but for like the past week i can't get into it, i click it and some window comes up and it just doesn't show up. what can i do?

It's broken. We know. You'll have to use a real chat program to get in, like mIRC or Ircle.

Once you've download and installed mIRC...

damn, i was hoping it woud stay down and be disassociated from this board. hence weeding out some of those typing pink meanies....
