did you kill everything there was to kill? did you check for any un-pressed switched? are you sure?

heres a hint, throw halo and your x-box out the window, go buy a decent computer, warcraft 3, neverwinter nights, baldurs gate 2, and solder of fortune 2, and play a good game

*shits on halo*

notice the time btw, when is the last time you were up playing a game every single night until 4 in the morning for more then a week?

back to warcraft 3 :D

oh and one last thing, yes i played halo and beat the stupid game, where i put the controller down and never picked it up again.

that game sucks

*poops on biscuits* ;)

As per for the person stuck on Halo....

Once you make it into the underground cave, there's going to be an encounter with lotsa grunts, a few elites, and some jackals. When you come down into that big ass indoor area with the warthog(sounds like where you're stuck), stick to the right hand side of the map. You will see a little ramp going up. There will be two elites there (assuming you're not playing on puss). Kill them and walk all the way down the the walkway they came from. There's a small switch you can press which will activate the bridge. Depending on how much you wack out the script, a cinematic may occur. Then the energy bridge will be up and you can continue on.

PM me if you need anymore help. :)

The Part with the big cavern? If your at the part I think you are, on the right side as you enter the large area with guys, there is a little pathway up that leads to a switch that turns on the bridge.

I thought Halo was alright, but it could/should have been so much better. The original vision (PC-based) was far superior- team-based massive battles, ala Tribes 2, but with Halo's beautiful engine and badass aliens...
Oh well, yet another great product beaten into mediocrity by Microsoft.

Yeah, Halo totally sucks after you beat it. And the game line-up for Xbox totally sucks, the graphics rock though ;\.

So I'd say, stick to the computer.
Ok, im finished.

*too lazy to type out how to beat the level*

i'm at the part where the marines just dropped off the warthog and i just got into the driver's seat and heading towards the cave.

All you do now is drive the hog through the cave. It's dark and you have to pay attention. There's a jump you have to make in order to continue on. Do this and then you'll make your way into an underground forerunner area with lots of grunts, jackals, and a few elites....

Yeah you just keep goin and it lead u to a small chasm which you just fly over with the warthog... Then your at a large energy bridge which you hav to turn on.

I don't think console designers understand the concept of 'replayability', but this could be dew to consoles' limited life span...

or the storage capacity of the media... or even the capacity of the console.

Whoever says Halo has no replayability obviously has not tried playing a System Link game.

This is what crack does to you folks. It makes you hate good things... Halo is a really good game. So is WC3. But WC3 takes a beefy computer to run, making it a shitty game on my pc. That is where my room mate's computer comes into play. ;)

peace

Right on buddy! We'll have to do a syslink one of these days. If you need anymore help, you need only ask. That goes for anyone else too.
biscuits' fingers shit this comment

That's not only stupid, but the sims is all that is wrong with gaming today. As per civ3, yeah.. it's a pretty neat game. One of the only games I can 'play' and when it's the computer's turn, I can go make a sandwich, clean the kitchen, vacuum the front room, write a novel, track down the dead sea scrolls, and find the missing link. Then I can come back and still have enough time to clip my toenails... Tongue in cheek gameplay I tell ya. ;)

To much of a hassle, perhaps with the net it would be kool, but wait, its goin to be $10 a month and CENSORED. PCs will always be superior.

Censored? Really? Would you mind pointing out to me where in the design spec and certification requirements this is? Perhaps if you could elaborate a bit I could debunk what you have to say much faster than guessing.

An article I read on IGN talked about how M$ wanted to hav a 'disneyland expierence' and censor everyone, and have a voice alteration thing so that it 'discourages sexual predators'.
I don't know why you are goin on about certifications and specs, since that has absolutly nothing to do with the online network.
