Okay so.. I just visited the chat room.. I was excited. I thought "wow I bet this is really cool, and I might meet new fun peope" boy was I wrong. As soon as I entered someone told me to die... the whole 15 minutes I was in there everyone just acted like complete jerks. People need to chill out in the chat room and not act like such assholes. That's all I have to say. Thanx:(

Look - I've tried not to shove my naive comments into this particular issue, but I really have got to ask at this point - where the FUCK is this chat room that comes up every so often on the board? I mean, is there a secret fucking web address? Do I need to call the Batline? Is there hidden html code to have 'chat room' appear in the pull-down menu?
Help me out here.

It's irc. mIRC is a client. If you don't like mIRC you can use anouther client.

I'm definately NOT a candy raver I made this name a long long time ago back when I was though....I made it a screen name my frosh year in high school and I've used the name for shit ever since... I signed in the chat under rainbowbrite18 and everything was all gravy....

it's the same as anywhere really

some people are assholes

some are not.

the difference is that the chat room has a neat ignore button you can hit, while real life does not.

therefore i feel internet chat is superior to in person contact

Yeah, maybe im just a re-re, but every time i click on that, it asks me for a nickname, and an email addy, and then I go to "connect" without fail I get a "chatroom closed" message. is it only open on a certain time ? am i doing this wrong ? do i have to download something ? what am i doing wrong ?
