Where to put my tattoos???

I'm getting 2 tats... an om a a crescent moon. they're both pretty small.. I was thinking about putting one on my lower back or between my shoulder blades... but would it look tacky if I got the other one on my shoulder blade so I'd have 2 tats on my back??:confused:

um... your going about this all wrong. First off your putting something on your body that will be there probally forever. Second, it's going to be on YOUR body, who cares what someone else thinks is tacky! Why would you want someone else to dectate or deside what would be cool with your body? Your not getting some cheezy tribal or anything your getting a spiritual/meditating symbol, this should be something important to you, something on your body forever should be importlant as well. So do what you want.

yah the om is part of my religion... the crescent moon is a dedication to my good friend that died.. so they both have a very significant meaning that I hold dear to me. I'd never get a cheest tattoo cuz it's "cute". thanx for the advice!!!:D

Tattoos are a very personal thing and only you should decide where you want to display them. Traditionally/socially, females tend to place tattoos in more concealable places as opposed to tend to display them more conspicuously. For this reason, I say let it shine :) Don't put it in a place JUST so people can see it, because tattoos are for you, not for anyone else, but dont always worry about having to cover it up either. Girls are dumb sometimes. Also, think if youre every going to get any OTHER tats though and maybe where you might like to have those so you can arrange it spacially on your body when the time comes.

Ummm...who are you to say what a "cheezy" tattoo is? You just get done saying that you should do it for you and you shouldnt care what other people think of your tattoo but then you go and judge what looks "cheezy" and not. Hmmmm...maybe you are going about this all wrong.

As far as the placement of the tattoo goes I would ask the artist. Often times they have great insight of what would look good where and what shapes and such conform on certain parts of your body. When you go in maybe have him place the design on different parts of your body that you were considering and see what YOU like best. I have two tattoos on my back (one on my left shoulder blade and one centered on my lower back) and I think that it looks fine that way :o)

All to prove my point, and thank you for helping, you should't care what other people think about what u get or where u get it. Tattoo's are so much more than what is cool, if I think something is cheezy i'm not gonna get it, If I like it then who gives a fuck what other people think. It's all about personal preference. My personal prefrence should have no degree in anyone else's decision on what to get on thier body for the rest of thier life.
