Icey and Baby Ann are the shit no doubt. I think most kids 18+ are used to paying $20 for 8 hours of entertainment with a few more deejays. I'm not saying Iceys not worth it but the price is kinda high for 5 hours and 3 acts(2x4 considered one, even though 2 deejays are spinning).

At the old FX(18+) you'de get 12-15 locals, 2 headliners(let's say Terry Mullan and Doran) and 7 hours of beats for $15 bucks...Just swap drunk frat boys and girls with nasty old ravers. The only benefit I see for 18+ers going to showbox is a little cleaner environment. They can't drink either way so why spend 20bucks for less talent and less time kickin' when they could spend less money and get more talent for longer.

The only person who really benefits is the promoter because tickets sales as well as space are filled up by 18+ers who want to be clubby minus the drinks.

I'll be there though, I'm going to sneak in on your guestlist sasha;) BabyAnne is hot.

It is $15 presale. I come up with the price by Cost of show. This space holds 1300 people. Icey and Baby Anne are expensive and you have two hotel rooms and Air fare from Orlando, plus all the costs of the venue, lights, ect..

I even got the club to stay open for one more Hr. at the cost of an extra $1,000.00 all of these costs add up to one big number that either we hit and break even, we don't hit our numbers than I can lose up to $5,000.00 for the night. Or I make $1,000.00 if the show has 1000+ people. There isn't any money to make in these shows just to brak even the door price has to be $20. If saving $5 is really importand buy your ticket at the Showbox there is a very min. charge for your presale ticket. There isnt any money in these shows that's why it's my last one.

I guess your not tired of NAFT. I got tired of NAFT in 1995 so for me there is no choice. Also Icey costs double what either of those two headliners cost. Think of it more like DJ Dan (much bigger and therefore more expensive name) Like I said if I was making money I would be doing these shows every week. That's not the case 1 in 4 shows makes money the other 3 lose money or break even. That's not my problem anymore.


If people want to go someplace where the vibe is going to be really strong they should come check this show out. It's going to have a little bit of that OLD SCHOOL FLAVOR the scene has been missing so much of lately.

this is the same price he charged at the last two shows... if you think about all other shows he's done, its reasonable... i actually think Showbox is one of the more cheaper clubs for headliners compared to some others in other states... plus, icey does way better sets at clubs then he does at bigger parties, like SEC ones
