I am a moron.
But we all know that, so on with the story.
Today I was in the darkroom with my mac formatted ZIP disk in my apron pocket. When I came in to the light, I noticed that I had spilled developing chemicals on the disk's box. Although the disk itself seemed dry and fine, it does not work, and the drive will not recognize it. I've tried it on about 5 different machines, so something's definitely wrong with the disk.
Is it beyond repair, or because I have nothing to lose but the disk itself (I have most of the files stored elsewhere) should I attempt home repair?
If anyone has advice on disk repair other than Norton, let me know.
Peace,
Jenney and her sad disk
