woo hoo! bruce campbell is coming as a guest speaker to M$ (so any of you contractors or full times who read this, go to it!!) in a week.. i am super excited because i love cheezy horror, and bruce campbell is just great in that genre. the session is titled: If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor
hahahaha

he got interviewed for the micronews, i thought it was amusing

Q: What do you expect to find when you visit Microsoft?
A: I expect to find large, gleaming buildings with lots of voice-activated equipment inside. I also expect to find Mr. Gates eating a ham sandwich in the employee cafeteria.

Q: What book must every Microsoft employee read?
A: Any book that doesn't have "Micro" or "Soft" anywhere in the title. Aside from that, I recommend that they read ... period.

Q: What future technology do you most wish for?
A: Well, now that I have satellite radio, which has effectively rid my world of obnoxious DJs and commercials, I can pretty much call it quits.

Q: If you could give to only one charity, what would it be and why?
A: I'm a big fan of our little planet. I enjoy drinking water that I can't taste and breathing air that I can't see, so I suppose I should get ahold of Mother Earth and see if she has a foundation set up yet. Other than that, generous donations are always accepted by the Bruce Campbell Foundation—I need all the help I can get!

yay... im so excited! post your love for bruce campbell or cheezy horror here.

(ps: nothing still tops chopping mall. ever.)

I actually enjoyed the book. Then again, I'm a big Bruce Campbell fan. Powell's was packed during his book signing, it was complete madness.

I love me some Bruce Campbell too, and his movies rock...AND the Evil Dead PSX game is awesome! There's even a button you can push JUST to make him say one of his dorky one-liners, it's the best

If you go get a chance to see him do so. Hes one of the funniest, insightful, polite person(s) I've ever met.

Once a friend of mine said that I reminded him of Bruce in more ways than one (looks & manerisms) I rate that one of the nicest compliments Ive ever received.

well, the talk was hilarious. he made lots of jokes about microsoft, and had really funny responses to the people that asked questions. he read from the part of his book related to people giving him things at signings, etc. for those of you that dont have the book, he mentioned a guy who gave him a pair of briefs, and embroidered on the crotch, it said:

THIS IS MY BOOM STICK

hahahahahahahaha

anyways, stood in line for forever to get a book signed, got a pic :p not the greatest pic hehe but its funny anyways

Nice pic, thats hysterical. If I was big and famous I think I would pose like that for every fan picture.

Speaking of Cheese Horror Flicks, have you seen Sleep Away Camp?

Used to be an all time fav, watched it again recently and its still as funny! Gotta love the Mom. ;)
