It's sad to see that the news feels it's important to broadcast somebody's addictions and mistakes. That won't help at all. The best way to get somebody out of addiction is making them feel better about themselves, and making a note to every news watcher that she fucked up and that they think she sucks probably doesn't make her feel all that much better.

Maybe you misread my statement. More likely, you tried sounding out all the words just like Hooked On Phonics tm told you to and made a reasonable guess as to what those words meant. In any case, your wrong.

What I said, and what was clearly implied in the statement, is that the Kennedys are fucked up. With the exception of RFK, I hate all of them. Now, what I'm trying to say is that the Bushes almost manage to be worse. Maybe they're not there yet, but give them another generation and I garuntee that they'll make it. Plus, unlike the Bushes, the Kennedys are known for their intelligence. Not that intelligence makes you a good person by any means, but it can be a virtue. Especially when you run the fucking country (or attempt to, when not being sidelined by ones own staff because one's speeches are so embarrassingly awful).

As to the drugs, personally I believe she should be allowed to do whatever she wants. Cocaine is a messed up drug, but it should be her decision whether to do that messed up drug. The irony in this situation is that her whole family has labored hard to put lots of people in prison for what she and other members of her family can, do, and will in the future get away with.
