i am glad that the venue is getting the response it is. completely secure and locked down. the one sheriff in town is aware of the show and supports it. medical servises are available if needed. everything is legit and permitted. the show is going to go off. the venue holds about 1000 people so there is plenty of room to dance and enjoy yourselves in a safe and secure atmosphere.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

This is in regards to my picture on the Fusion flyer. I have been getting some mixed reviews on the fact that I am unclothed. The truth is that it started as a joke with MIke (usa) and our designer DJ FURY. And at the end i decided to just keep it in the flyer.

I wrestled all my life and worked hard to maintain and develop the physique i have today. I won a Westen Athletic Conference Championship in 1999 and was ranked 18th in the country Division 1 in 2000. College athletics are rediculously strenuous and my discipline and belief in myself have been elevated due to the circumstances and hardships i had to endure through my college career.

i would go home from the University of Wyoming on the weekends whenever i did not have a tournement. we flew all over the country and i brawled with some of the best athletes that the country has to offer.

i got sucked into to rave scene in denver in 1995. i would party then head back to school from Denver and practice on monday which was hell in the first place regarding my former parting lifestyle. i bought turntables in 1996 and began playing. i am still playing and now that Wrestling is over for me my desire and dedication has trasferred to music.

I LOVE MUSIC AND IT IS ONE OF MY TRUEST OUTLETS TO COMMUNICATE WITH GOD AND OR MYSELF. I FOCUS MY TIME AND ENERGY ON MUSIC AS I HAVE DONE WITH WRESTLING.

they are professional and tasteful and will be a part of my portfolio which is designed for body modeling and printwork. I am trying to use my assets to the bestof my abilities.

Usa seems to have great intentions, but I was at lotus gathering and you could just tell they weren't 100% prepared or maybe spread too thin, (too many rooms not enough help/equip) Either way, prepare, and make sure that by the time people arrive, you're ready, and most importantly, relaxed if possible. Hard as that is, you will be the ones to set the vibe, and at lotus gathering it felt spread, frantic, and sometimes just not there. Make it easy for people to relax, and they will dance/talk/party like there's no tomorrow. At lotus gathering we couldn't even find bathrooms, were solicited at the pay2park, and once inside everything had a confused feel. I dont mean to go off, take it with a grain of salt, my advice is relax, prepare, listen to what people like and dont like during the event. Dont skimp on sound, go easy on the partiers, and have a good time yourself. Nothing makes people feel more comfortable than if you are yourself.

rewind, in many ways you have valid points...from someone with involvement in that show, let me thow a couple pennies in there.....
in reality, michael probably took on a little too much with 4 rooms and also adding on a $3000 DJ 2 weeks before the event (total combined expenses for DARA). Lotus was a beautiful vision of a show, that in reality we all know was too much for Ptown to handle, and also too much for a promoter if there isn't enough reliable people participating and working an event. That is honestly where you probably felt a lot of the tension coming from. But have you ever seen a DnB room go off like that?! being a decent and good promoter is also trying not to make mistakes, but when you do, learn the most you possible can from them. That is why you now see a bangin one room event, with a small ambient chill area. Keeping it simple is what it is all about, simple with high impact! really appreciate your way of being positive while voicing your concerns and opinions.....that is what nwtekno was originally designed to provide for us!!!!;) hope to see you at FUSION rewind........much luv....:) :)

Back to the basics - yes.

BRILLIANT BASICS - one huge main room - with massive sound system.

one chill side room - with dope talent.

IFC bringing the old school vibe and style with the new school people of PDX. Mike's intentions were good at "lotus gathering" but with IFC bringing in the names like DARA, DIESELBOY and DB there is no room for another main room where other headliners may not be given the love they deserve. USA AND LOL are beautiful people who have the same desires as IFC - TO THROW QUALITY EVENTS.

WITH LIKEMINDED PEOPLE WORKING ON EVENTS LIKE FUSION AND GENESIS HOW CAN THE SCENE NOT FLOURISH THE WAY EVERYONE WANTS IT TO.

Nothing personal to other promoters but all local shows every weekend will not develop a hardcore scence, will not get respect from surrounding cities and or states, and will not keep the interest of the number one reason events are sucsessfful - THE PEOPLE........

WITHOUT THE PEOPLE WHO WANT DARA, DIESELBOY, AND DB THERE WOULD BE NO PARTY.
