Should Kim (sothis) continue to be a moderator?

I've logged a lot of hours on this board over this long, boring, mostly-jobless summer, and out of all the moderators it has been Kim who has been involved in the most drama, fights, flamewars, etc. In fact, several times Kim has locked threads only to have them be opened up again by other mods.

Now, Kim is locking threads left and right simply because I posted in them. Perfectly legitimate threads from the older days of the board, that aren't list threads or duplicates, that don't have flamewars in them, and that have no connection with trolling, are being locked because of a long-held personal vendetta against me held by one of the moderators.

Is this right? Or is this an abuse of moderator power? I could see if the power was only being used against me - such as locking all of my threads. That would be one thing. But literally handfuls of completely relevant, useful threads are being locked because of Kim's opinion of me. Literally HUNDREDS of board members are seeing their perfectly legitimate, rule-abiding creations and works destroyed or defaced because of Kim's overbearing reactions to my mere presence on this board.

Is it really in the best interests of the NWTekno community to let someone like this continue to moderate? It seems to me that HexRei, katyloop, and Trixie are more than capable of running OT without the aid of sothis. It also seems to me that HexRei, katyloop, and Trixie are more than capable of locking any threads that violate the rules, including ones posted by me.

So why is Kim always the one to lock them? Is it possible that less of my stuff would be locked if Kim did not moderate?

Most of the moderators have kitten on ignore. Yet Kim continues to respond to her posts with flames and be involved in pitiful board-drama battles. Is this what should be happening? I thought flamewars were against the rules - but here we have Mods actively playing a part.

This needs to be stopped.

I move that we suspend Kim's moderation priviledges, and entrust hex katy and trixie to run OT. I'm sure they can do a fine job.

peter and katy, had they been around, would have surely done something similar. peter had to clean up ot with me when bk shit all over it, so did katy. trixie isnt even around, and hasnt been for months, so i dont know why you are bringing her up.

Actually, it's quite public. Anyone can get a lycos, excite, yahoo, or many many free email accounts. Yeah, you have to register, but judging by OT alone (!!), anyone can register.

Personally, I think Kim is a great mod. Sure, she may do some things I don't agree with, but overall she does a great job.
