hey dante, i think you're someone i was told to look for by tyler, he lived in olympia last year...last night at twist (club down here) i think he was kindof out of it, actually, on a flyer for a party we're throwing this weekend he gave me a list of about 15 people, their names and descriptions, to try and find....
my email is skittlestyle@hotmail, if you don't want to keep posting, but whatevers fine...

is it easy to find a job? (i'm assuming so, but my dad was living in the northwest a few years back and he made it sound iffy. i'm a cook, so that might be more complicated...)

are you from that part of the world? i think that weather-ajustments might be a problem....

drum circles, break dancers, gospel brunches and salsa dancing lessons---are any of these available in olympia? i'm on my way out to the ritz, i'll post more later, thanks for your help!!!

Hey there, Im an ex oly/greener grad, and wanted to say hi! If your a cook, you shouldn't have a big problem finding a job. Olympia is kind of conservative in terms of the job market, so if you plan to work with customers, you might have to take out your piercings if you have any. There are cool slacker jobs in oly where they dont care how you look too. Email me at bustafunk@hotmail.com if you want any other info, opinions, or want to groove up here in the city.

help! i'm moving across the country to olympia washington, part of a scatterbrained plot that is so typical of me...i'm transferring to evergreen in rainy, cold, olympia washington from sun-loving austin texas. any info--clubs in seattle, info line numbers, do they do full moon renegades there and if so that number, record stores, any kind of odd laws that washington has, and very importantly, I NEED to find a capoeria group or i will fall to pieces, capoeria keeps me sane, keeps me livin, keeps me conquering the world. i know that there is a huge capoeria angola group in seattle, but i practice capoeria regional....any help would be bombastic!
(remember always--you create your own destiny!)

hey there,
i am an evergreen student too! well, there aren't many clubs in oly, but thekla. which is a interesting place. good sound system, now...if we could only get some djs in there who actually mixed some songs...
on the job market, i couldn't find anything that would pay above six an hour, ended up working up by bellevue and commuting back for school two days a week. seatown is not far, and there are a lot of cool people down there. for the most part, everyone down there seems standoffish at first, but are really nice people. i personally don't dig on the hippies with their non use od deorderant, but to each his own. i didn't like oly at first, but i find myself missing it and looking forewards to going to school. why don't you e-mail me when you are coming in and we can hok up and i can show you some cool places to go. oh yeah, about the msuic stores, rainy day and abither store downtown carry vinyl and will order just about anything you want. much love, and see you when you get here...
