you may have caught a virus. if you can boot into windows get an antivirus prgram see if it helps. If you cant find someone to run a virus check on your drive. If you dont have one then do what Liz said when your kernel gets fucked not much you can do except reinstal unless you wana take way more time then its worth fucking with the registery and crap.

what operating system are you running?
do this, click on Start, Run, and type "eventvwr"
- then click OK

Look in the System and Application column. are there any other weird error messages? I would think if your kernel32 is fuxored, then you'd have other errors too...they can point you in the right direction. try to correspond the Event Viewer errors to times when you received the Explorer.exe/kernel32.dll error message.

and get back to me on the os, I may know a couple tricks that can fix explorer.exe no matter what the problem...

oh, and I hate iceburg lettuce on my sandwich.
