If the possability of purchasing a new server came around... what would be an ideal system with the least amount of $$$ spent?
System Name, Type, etc.
Where would it be located and who would run it?
Interested to see what kind of donation it would take to get something like this movin'.
I've looked in the archives and have not found any info on this.

Thank you for the info.

Basically our problem is we need some decent horsepower for doing the massive amount of PHP and MySQL transactions that this site requires. I don't exactly know what those stats would be, but I don't think the hardware would be that expensive. Bandwidth and colocation however, are.

I have a friend who can match the stats and bandwidth for pricing. i'll get back on that.
I'm not trying to get any hopes up, but I'm curious to see what it really would take to continue the work that this person/persons had in creating this site. I'd dislike seeing this site end.
Location>>>? No clue.
