What is up with a good NYE event for this year? There isn't shit going on? By this I mean either A. a 21+ club event with a intl. headlining DJ or B. a massive all ages festival with multiple DJ's at the Exhibition Center (i.e. Blyss last 12/28/01).

I'm just super dissapointed in this town, we're already so far behind other towns when it comes to partying and then we can't even have a blow out on New Years Eve?

Guess I need to go to LA or Vegas!

(I know that there's small little raves here and there. That's NOT my cup of tea however. This is more like what I'm talking about www.giantclub.com )

what is up with everyone posting non-board related questions in questions and comments lately? should i reword the forum description?

i am sure there will be some $40 party at the exhibition center or a similar venue featuring overhyped coked-up djs who can barely beatmatch and hang out in the vip lounge with their bleached-blonde breast-implanted admirers.

i am equally sure that there will be a 21+ overpriced event with a crappy DJ from far-away and huge glossy flyers.

there has been many of the above events every year so i'm not sure what you're so worried about. it's not even december yet.

you say that seattle is "behind" as if seattle was trying desperately to be like LA or Vegas and failing.

but it's completely deliberate that seattle is not plastic, artificial, superficial, money-oriented, plastic-implanted, gotta-go-get-laid-and-grind-on-my-neighbors-crotch, i-don't-know-shit-about-music-but-i-sure-am-high in large doses.

plane tickets are always under $100 RT... no need to torture yourself with seattle =P

right, but the description goes on to clarify

I haven't really heard of much going on here either. Sux that the 1st is on a Wednesday so no getaways. Looks like Portland can be an option.

I'm not sure whether to say "I love you" or "best post EVAR," so I'll compromise by saying I love you for making the best post EVAR.

EVAR!!!
