Hmm, what can I say? This is one event that totally blew me away. Slant was playing some fresh shit.. at first he was comin' with the hip hop -- then some raw dnb - sick as always... um, who was up next -- I can't remember. Um, EMC, upstairs.. he rocked that shit too. Playing some funky ass shit, back downstairs -- roman WAS killing shit (although I kept finding myself upstairs for some reason.) Um, Vixens of Vinyl... they pretty much took control of the upstairs. I especially thought it was sick when they were all mixin' on one set of decks, at the same time. Funky fresh as always --um, I left the joint for a bit to support the homies at ONSET. Back at the spot, I arrived to find NAHA playing her funky breaks. Another dj who wrecked shop -- but who would expect less? The crowd had died down a bit, but shit was still blowin' up at 2am. Adonis finally got a ride home because somewhere in the process of wandering around with a drink in hand, looking important & giving orders out - he'd forgotten his records. So, he seemed pretty stoked that he was behind the decks. I was pretty stoked as well because I have NEVER seen him look so damn happy. Plus he was playing some pretty good techno... heh. Back upstairs.. Nitsuj! Ooooh, one of the sweetest sets I've heard in a long time. I honestly did not want it to end... I especially liked when he smoothly mixed into that sweet fucking hip hop track.. oooh... still getting chills...

-- sorry I didn't venture off into the side room, so I couldn't tell you what went on there... but the place was packed all throughout the night.. great vibes, lots of friendly people...

Adonis & Kellie, you guys kick ass. Seriously, can't wait for the next event! Until then, I'll just keep talking about how much I loved this one.

For all of those who missed it.. you missed out on - if not the best, one of the best events of the year!

Flave came on strong with a little Drum and Bass and then just dropped this sick tekno track both Roman and I were blowing up to, After him was Jonlee(pimp fa sho') But the surprise of the night was JonLees buddy from SF who just vibed it out and wasn't even on the flyer.

That's a understatement...To quote Roman on the way home - "That was the best set i've ever played in a long time." No, it was off the stupid and those who don't know, well now they know :)

Looking important? How about looking blacked out!!! I was having so much fun I forgot I was going to play(honestly) lucky for me I live up over the hill...I played three records but you can believe those where the best three records i've ever played :) Don't thank me, thank Headline 008, Rotation, Music Man, Christian Smith and John Selway!!!

Drum and Bass till almost 4:00 am...Nobody even realized how little whack music was played all techy, funky, and bangin' party music...Nitsuj is one of Seattle best DJs so it shouldn't be a surprise why the place was still packed, vibin', and just basically cool to be at in the weeeee hours of the night.

If it weren't for Dab and Victor this party wouldn't have been anything close to what it was. I was in there every other minute checking out the FUNK...Jason Diamond is somebody everybody needs to look out for, for REAl!!!

Thank Kellie, it was her idea and vision from the start, one night at Charlies...Thanks to BallerTheClown who hung out all night, which that mystery person never does, Thank Jeromy from Wherehouse music for turning all the phatty strobes on during Romans set, Thank Naha, Delirium and the rest of my people for believeing in all that is funky and free. I personally thank all of you who came out and it really proved to me that there are people who still believe in edgy Techno and House music :)

Hey Adonis.. you need to take care of that little lady..... she seems like a very good catch. Either you drag her out more often or spend more quality time with her at home...

Whoa.... is all I got to say. That night was off the hook. I had soooo much fun playin w/ my girls. One of our best sets yet, tag-teaming ones instead of threes (never done by the vixens before). Got to do it again! Adonis and Kellie, you guys definately know how to throw a party. Can't wait till the next one!!!

I can't believe I got drunk with my wife and her sisters singing Karaoke at the New Luck Toy in W Seattle, and missed it. Adonis is not only going to spank me, he's going to do it with the Madonna record he tried to lift out of my crate on NYE.
Adonis, I apologize for not making it to your party, and for playing that Madonna record on NYE..

i sooooo missed the aristocrats......a second home to alot of us. so good to see all the homies kickin back and having a good ass time. beats were off the hook and it seemed like there wasn't one person without a big ass smile on their face. "shit was illin'" as miss elvia would say. "good times good times" as miss anastasia would say. "it was crackin'" as mister adonis would say. :)

just like the elvia....got there just in time for the EMC beats, chilled for awhile for the hot vixens and roman beats, left for a bit for the nori & slant beats at onset, came back for the sweet naha beats, went crazy for the nitsuj beats (yea for cali curse!) and ended the night off with (it was last but definately not the least) the crackin' adonis beats. :)

props to mister adonis and miss kellie!! cannot wait for your next party! high society is where it's now at!

liz

annie and katie: thanks so much much for the christmas treats...i was sooooo hungry.....sober.....hungry.... :)

Hey Kellie I have lot's of pictures of the event. I tried to get as many as possible but someone forgot to pick up another role of film. Lot's of the Vixens and the crowd which was really insane. Again great idea to throw all that diversity into one event. Need any pics just ask Roman we scanned them at work to blow them up.
Oh and Roman, you amazed me again. To bad techno couldn't be played more in this city. Keep the love and faith brother, sooner or later my man!!!!!
