An interesting article I came across about tempo of music and car accidents. Watch out for those DnB headz. ;)

I call BS on that. Riding on my motorcycle I liked to listen to music. And when a good blood pumping hardcore song was played I always felt the need to drive fast.
Same thing with movies. I remember when Gone in 60 Seconds came out. There were 5 police cars around the block from the theatre. Of course after seeing that movie every idiot tried driving like he had nitrous loaded in his car.
Listen to some soothing opera and then listen to some speed garage, we'll see when you drive faster.

Well it depends on what you do with 120 bpm. Trust me on this one, there are ways to make 120 bpm totally insane.

I said it should have nothing to do with car wrecks not nothing to do with driving............:o

Don't you have to be driving to have a car wreck?

It's true...
Doubling tempo, holy shit...there you have some 240 bpm music.
That alone would kill you.

I can't listen to techno while on the motorcycle anymore (at least on the super slabs...back road twisties shouldn't be a problem). I was cruising back from Seattle down I5 last summer listening to an acid trance cd by Amber. I'm tucked down on the tank with the tunes banging in my helmet and I notice this semi going really slowly. I glance down at my speedo and I'm doing 130. Fuckin' A they come up fast at that speed. Good thing no wsp's around as I know they wouldn't have much sense of humor for that. When I told her about it, Amber said she's put warning labels on her cd's about driving while listening!

Bullcrap, if I throw in some hardcore I turn into a rally car driver. LOL!
It's all about the loud, "driving techno"
120mph.....ohhhh yea baby. Only problem is when I mistake the beeps from my radar detector for a sample in the track that's playing!

In Korpi's case, listening to 240BPM makes him a danger to others.
Esp. hardcore....when speakers are around...

Not to mention, when you have music blaring it is more difficult to hear train whistles, firetrucks, screaming pedestrians, and honking semi trucks.

loud music attracts the attention of others while you are driving. Sometimes you drive the same route over and over and over and over again, you can't help but to do 100, no matter how many BMP are speeding thru your speakers. i5 from Mt. Vernon to B-Ham for instance is a long distance, I haven't died yet.

Calling me by my first name when I have no clue whatsoever who you are is the equivelent of whispering at me from a dark doorway on stark street.
