For those of you who have been living in a cave, Gwar is a heavy metal band. Its kind of like a cross between a KISS concert, and a mideivel passion play. GWAR stands for "God what an awful racket." In concert they wear prosthetic "Appendages" that allow them to shoot all kinds of fake bodily fluids onto their attendees. I cant really explain more than that. youll have to check them out yourself. Almost anyone I know who was in a band has covered a gwar song at one time or another (mine was "sick of you")

I went as "ballzac the jaws of death" for halloween one year. I was forbidden to enter the High school costume contest. I would have won too.

Its funny to think that most of GWAR all have respectable day jobs on top of being gwar. Beefcake is a Lawyer, and the singer is a CPA ? I could have that backwards tho.....Hmmmm....I must brush up on my gwar lore.


Has anyone played the GWAR miniature game ? Its like warhammer with GWAR. Finally a mini game I can get into.

I remember playing the Beavis and Butthead video game on sega genesis back in the day. . .the object was to seek out peices of their tix to a Gwar Concert that were chopped up by Mr. Anderson's lawn mower and then scattered throughout the town. So nice to find other gwar fans. Everyone i know has either never heard of them or thinks they are lame. I love gwar and was fortunate enough to finally catch them in concert last time they were here.
Does anyone have kazaa? if you do you can download the episode of jerry springer in wich they appeared on. So far ive only been able to find a few of their live performances but the ones ive found have been awesome
