WE ROLLED UP AND SAW LIKE 900 12 YEAR OLDS, A FLASHLIGHT, AND A SPEAKER. WHAT THE FUCK. WE LEFT AFTER LIKE 2 MINUTES.
we headed to loveshack instead. it was pretty dope cept for the 99999999999999999 extra bodies that showed up.
edit: it looks like you guys tried your best, the turnout wasn't really your fault, so im not tryin to give bad press to you guys. but do us all a favor and NEVER try and hold a rave in parkland again.

This was the biggist JOKE EVER, who ever thaught of doing this at a roller skateing ring was of their rocker. I've never seen so many 10 year olds in my life, I feel so sorry for those who wasted their time to actually travel to this little kid party. CLUB TEK PROD. you guys really need to not try and throw anything again unless it's for your little sisters birthday party. Seriously this was a discrace to everything the scene is about, do everyone a favor and dont try this again.

it was funny playing breaks and having a 12 year old come up to me every minute and ask me when i was going to play some rap lol. There was a continuous onslaught of rap requests the whole night, and the mob was gonna riot if there wasn't rap so the house dj went on after me and played some rap to calm all the brats down.
The funny thing was...they went from standing outside of the dancefloor to running back out onto it when the rap started...and just stood around in a herd...no one started dancing or nuthin, but they were chillin with their rap straight g thuggin!! yeah boyee!!!
venue was nice, sound was lacking..c'mon guys at least get some 1200's and some decent monitors!?!?!?
And the crowd...well it was wiggah g thug 10 year old central...there must been a couple hundred of those lil buggers!!! Obviously not the tekno crowd...
all in all, it made for quite the interesting night to say the least....learned a bit about hood brat dynamics lol!
eh gotta make the best of every situation hah

I'm so glad I atleast went to loveshack to party untill it got WAY too full, before I came here...
I showed up, wanted to leave but stayed only because it would have been the professional thing to. My girlfriend was practically molested by a 12 year old who was trying to like grind her in the ass with his junk. I saw 8-10 year olds girls dancing MORE ILLICITLY than I've seen strippers at Fox's. My GF can't even dance like that! OMG. I was frightened.
DJ Twitch got socked in the grill for not playing hip-hop by some 12 year olds, and then proceeded to get JUMPED by a writhing ball of pre-pubecent thugstaz. Nobody scolded the kidz, just him. wtf. Luckily they heard rap get put on and just ran to the middle of the dancefloor to huddle. Divine got told off by an 9 year girl with 2 snaps and twist for not playing JaRule.
I did however in the side room see two 6 year olds INFATUATED with the turntables bouncin to the jungle. (which I thought was cool)
There were g funk homie g kids runnin around with lighted binkies cuz they thought they were COOL, talkin mess to everyone. haha
At the end of the night someone got pissed the fuck off and I guess broke tables is all I head the cops say. I'm assuming that maybe he broke Todds turntables? If so then all I gotta say is that's hella fucked up!
I left shortly after that because I was standing outside to smoke and the cops made us leave. I didn't even throw down one record. And to tell the truth I'm glad I didn't. Sorry, but if I was playing on the dex and some fucking mongoloid broke them, as a reflex I would have grabbed the remainder of the deck and fucking nail the bastard upside the head. The dude that did this was like my age maybe younger (18-21 yrs) and a very large somoan wanna be G.
Either way, this party was somethin else. My appologies to anyone who came the hell out there, especialy my friends and their friends that drove from OREGON that I gave free tickets too. OMG.... ::shakes head::
lol. Seriously, I'm a nice guy, and of course I wouldn't EVER do it, but I had this weird primal urge to send kidz flying left and right.

Hold up,chill on the bullshit hating, yes this party sucked but lets see is Clubtek really to blame?First off I can say Clubtek did have part to Blame on the crappy night but at the same time is wasnt entirely there fault, for one the manager owner was trippin and told us djs basically to fuck off at first and only play rap which was a joke but comeon lets cut ClubTek some slack i dont think you could have forseen 500 10 year black g wanna be fuckers.I can personally Promise Clubtek will absolutley never ever throw a party like this one again, and when first startin off u have to have some failures before u can have success.thats just how it works its a learning process sorry u guys and myself didnt have the greatest time but On the plus side we djs got to jam out together in the side room BIg ups Pussy Cat productions

well i brought the entire side stage.......a big thanks to "hitmaster" for putting on a complete dj clinic for all the rest of us....another big thanks to ::nate_napalm:: for throwing the dope 2-step/garage set, thanks to constantine for showing up and doing the tag action, and fireball for playing on my stage,,,,
the party kids that did show....hung out at the side stage, because thats where all the "GOOD" music and dj's were. i spun briefly, and got fucked out of my normal set....AGAIN!!(shocking...but i think im getting used to that)
AND thanks to club tek for at least trying. these guys have their heart in the right place, and i thought that all in all they delt with the management(who was in breach of contract) pretty well...
HOWEVER.....they should have realy known that if you do an event in the ghetto where everyone thinks its cool to be an asshole, then all the assholes will show up...and lemme tell ya....there were a lot of 10 yr old assholes there. who lets their 10yr old kid stay out all night anyway????
AND FINALLY....club tek should have also known to bring a monitor. but thats a minor point. i was able to enjoy myself and keep a cool head despite the mongolian cluster fuck that took place. and i think the club-tek boys did a good job of trying to salvage the night. keep up the hard work guyes.....and keep in touch...

LOL "When cute kids attack!" I can see it now. With that one guy that does the voice overs for the police chase show.
"An innocent DJ getting ready to mix up some music known commonly as techno is preparing for a good night of partying in this local Tacoma-Washington skating rink. ... (light circle around an angry group of 10 yr olds) but that's when the unexpected strikes! The kids turn to riot as the poor DJ as you are about to witness gets struck with a fierce blow from one of the kids, turned, criminal on the fringe. Watch closely this slo-motion replay at the right of your screen as the angry pre-teen mob lashes out violently in a desperate rage and violent protest against the lack of JaRule. On the right side of the screen (light circle) a girl is clearly swining what apears to be a pacifier with blinking lights. What once was a cute toy, has now turned into deadly weapon! (DJ falling to the floor in slo-mo with a funny look on his face while flailing arms), notice as the poor disk jokey helplessly attempts to shield his genitals and face area from the attack. (cuts to a clip) Do you know where your pre-tenagers are? This could be the night that they enter a secretive and potentially dangerous world, the world of the rave--rave---rave--" lol. (sorry twitch I had to do it!)
And yes Hitmasta can CUT FASTA!!! Mad props for choppin the ish up. The side room action is where it was at! wooo!
I missed Dan and Nate, lol. I didn't even know they were there... but atleast the hot dog Graham bought for me was tasty. ;)

Hey this is jFreak of clubtek productions.
wow heh, last night sure was an interesting one...a lot of things went wrong and we did our best to cope with what we could but it wasn't easy. We had a lot of conflicting issues with the building owners (who were in breach of contract) who tried to take control of the event among many other issues.
One of the biggest problems that I was aware of is that, without letting Clubtek know, the skating rink sent out flyers to junior high and high schools in the area with a flyer that said "7pm-7am skate night, all ages $25." so then we had a huge mass of junior highers who were getting dropped off as a free overnight babysitting service, and we were kind of caught all up in the middle of this.
I offer my sincere apologies to everyone, especially the dj's who were trying their best to be good sports about it and be cool. Which wasn't easy with the stupid club owners and 10 year old kids swearing at them to play rap.
Thank you those who tried to come in our defense, there were some serious problems with the "pajama jammy jam" and I can't shift all the blame on other people, we had some problems too but this was a great learning experience. and I can promise you that we will be reviewing what happened at this event extensively so we can all avoid a similiar fate in the future.
Thank you for the continuing support.

WOW! I can honestly say this was the sickest rave Ive ever been to! Clubtek worked mass hard to bring the phattest party ever, only for it to be turned into nursery duty! Clubtek staff is just as disappointed about this whole event as every one else. thousand appologies for those who traveled far and the DJs who got shafted. Not at all what Clubtek had planned. Todd had to make the educated decision to either give way to the riotous teenies and play the rap, or keep his life. Tuff call, but needed to be made. Where were those kids parents anyway?
So sorry again for the janky event. Wont happen again.
ps. the 'tables' that got broke werent turn tables. it was just a table with stuff on it... a mixer, moniter and a couple energy drinks :} rumor has it that nothin was broke or seriously damaged. thanks for the concern!

Sue in small claims court. That's bullshit. Track down one of those flyers and get some deposistions from the djs as evidence. Your case would be solid, and the judge would totally blame the owners for corrupting the minds of innocent children (ect ect). Plus, it might scare other owners from pulling that shit.

Ok, here's the deal.
First off I would like to apologize to all of the people who came out both staff and people who came to have a good time. secound to all the DJ's I have nothing but respect for all of you and I'm so upset and angery at they way you all were treated by both owners and the hundered plus people yelling at you for what you do best, which in my opinoin you guys are the best. Third This event was MY IDEA clubtek is not to blame for this horrible idea I AM and if you have a problem with it take it up with me not clubtek so stop haten on them please. I'm not going to get all defensive like i normaly do theres no shifting blame here. Yeah I got straight up punched by some little shit and I layed the little bastard out and got yelled at for defending myself. shit went bad at this event and there's nothing we can do about it know. Graham your an awesome dj and a great guy and I'm so sorry you drove all that way for nothing and if theres somthing i can do in the future let me know. dave same thing and thanks for making me laugh about the whole attack thing it's the first time I've laughed since last night. Mark and the rest of pussycat productions thanks for coming out and for all the support you've given us. and any body I'm forgetting I'm sorry this is hard for me to write. I'm not going to lie I'm in tears right now over this and that is way I'm taking some time off from doing these events I'm sure most of you won't care and that's fine I'm still dj'ing bloom but after that I'm done for awhile and I'm still with clubtek and I'll never give up on what we trying to do. But this is for the best to all the DJ's that I've gotten to know I can't thank you guys enough. and once again I'm sorry for any anger and frustration this has caused if your going to blame someone blame me and not Todd and the rest of the clubtek crew they're hearts are in the right place and they mean nothing but the best for the scene.
Peace I'm out

Dear Friends, Dj's, Fellowravers etc etc!
I'm sooo sorry the event got out of hand. I'm not at the point where I can blame the venue either until i get futher evidence....
I'm offering to all RAVE people who came (& left ) ( or stayed )
Free tickets to our next event BLOOM. Click To View Bloom (http://www.nwtekno.org/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47000) Email Me Todd@clubtek.org for the tics.
I'm going to get bad press for this no matter what & there was nothing i could do. It came down to the point where we were going to have riots break out & we would get shut down. Or I let the venue play what they normally play & stay open & try to run a side room for us techno lovers.
I had a couple reporters there & i'm sure I'm in for some bad press.
But at least we kept fights from breaking out so that won't be in the paper hopefully.
The Venue did not restrict any ages from entering. I told them this was an all ages 16 & up show.
I was told we could turn the sound system as loud as we would want because it was rated & permitted to be run as a club.
The Cops didn't do of much help.
My Monitor didn't come through & I'm sorry I'm buying my own !
plus a backup. but we would have still had problems & left.
The venue manager was stressed to the max & apoligized for voiding the contract & let us do whatever we wanted after all heck broke loose. Thanks for those praying for me & the clubtek staff for there help!
Josh don't blame yourself @ all. who ever said the idea sucked needed to hear what i heard before the event! Look @ the add in the stranger!
The idea would be a total success up north. I just wish i could draw a good sized raver crowd down here in T town. :(
I hate how this has reflected on us as a company & I hope that you will all have the heart to forgive me & not blame my crew at all.
that goes out to you djs also.................
Mark your the shiznit! I give you madd respects man you being there kept me from flippin.
I've thown some fatty parties in the last year & a half & never seen
crud like this but I'm keeping my PLUR alive!
I give everyone madd respects & I was as frustrated & more with what happened.
Peace To You All!

Thank you....I truely appreciate your kind words....you guys at clubtek have all been good to me......and everybody else you have brought on....wether the events have gone well or not......
The fact that those lil hood rats were krazy does not really bother me......and the lady that owned the venue was being crazy ....doesnt really bother me.....the drive doesnt even really bother me......the fact that my timeslot was taken right out from under me without notice......now that bothers the hell out of me........I was told that I would have an earlier slot because my roomates had to be back so they could sleep and go to work......this was agreed upon prior to the event.....and then when the time came I was told......I was on at 3........I went out to smoke....and came back in a few minutes before 3....and there was someone else up on the decks in my slot......
To sum it up and cut it short and direct:
I really dont think it should be to much ask for a DJ to have a specific slot within reason and for a lil bit of back up on this......I had brought it to everybodies attention that my slot was just taken right out from under me......and what was done about it.......NOTHING....that is why I packed up and left......if you as promotors plan on booking me for future events then myself as a performing artist expects things to be a little more stable

On another note- has anyone else noticed the degradation of KIDS
in our society lately?
There are a few exceptions, but for the most part- The Child population
these days is fucking OUT OF CONTROL. Some little 12 year old
socked a DJ? WTF is this world coming too?
People need to STOP having kids at 17 yrs old and passing on their
shitty value system. Ugh. Fucking kids.
Mad props to everyone who toughed this one out!

In my defense He was 16 and the same size as me, but I agree with the fact that kids have no respect these days. I mean what kinda of parent lets they're 12 year old daughter wear make up and a thong then drop them off at a dance event to grind all over somebody twice they're age it's freaking crazy. and the scary thing is these are supossed to be the future leaders of america.

Ok, I was a vendor at the party so I have a few things to say:
First, I think the idea of a skating rink as a venue is awsome. You have a HUGE floor with no carpet that is CLEAN, you have some lights and sound already provided, there are lockers so people can store their stuff for cheap and be responsible for it themselves, and there is a concession stand open all night long.
The party was advertised as an all night dance party to the local schools and community. If this was not done by clubtech depending on what your contract says I would sue them. If you have legally rented their venue for the night they had NO right to advertise behind your back open it to everyone.
They were also being dicks and trying to control everything all night long. They basically told the dj's they had to start playing R&B because none of the kids wanted to hear techno. The guy (owner) also yelled at me to put my candy away. I had no problem with it but geez you don't need to be a dick about it! It's not like I was told I couldn't sell suckers and then broke the rules!
AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THOSE FUCKING KIDS!!! I have never been so annoyed in my entire life. Not to mention it was really sad. There were 10 year old girls running around dressed like hoochie mama's in thong underwear and dancing like girls on nasty mtv videos! WTF? I sure as hell didn't know anyone who could dance like when I was that age. I had 12 year old (if that) boys asking me where the condoms were. Every kid that came up to my table asked me what I was doing there. Then they asked me how much everything was, and then asked me why I was charging so much. I'm sorry but I don't think $2 is too much to ask for a bracelet or some chapstick. Their idea of prices are not the same as adults at a normal party. So needless to say I sold like 8 energy drinks and 2 necklaces, to the few adults that were there. I am not one to usually sterotype people but I swear to god 99.9% of all the kids there were THUGS. The slang, the clothes, the attitudes, and WTF is up with wearing your tags still on your clothes? Pants, hats, jackets- all these kids were running around with tags hanging out. What, did they plan on returning it the next day?
There was only one kid I give props to- she was about 8 in the small room (where the techno got moved to so people would stop complaining) She was using peoples glowsticks on string and spinning them around. It was the cutest thing because she was so excited and she really didn't have any rythm but it didn't matter because she was having such a good time.
I asked if they were going to turn the lights off at all- no, all the lights stayed on because there had been too many rumors about drugs being present. There were more cops there than at any rave I've ever been to. They actually escorted out about 5 people that I saw. They were NOT playing, if you started a fight, you were out. The guy that broke the table they took out in cuffs. My excitement for the eveneing... it was scary though because when people started arguing the entire group knew and followed who ever was arguing. They got a little too close to my table a couple times and I was actually worried about my things getting knocked over and stolen. I had one necklace stolen at the begining of the night- it pissed me off too because it had a blinking red light in a clear heart, it was really cool for v-day and they straight walked off with it. And there were so many little kids that looked alike I had no idea who it was  I had to watch my stuff more there than I did at raves, and the lights were on!!!!
Todd and everyone working there were really nice, provided me with a table and easy access to a plug in. I have no complaints on how I was treated as a vendor, I just never plan on going to a party in a neighborhood like that again. Thank GOD my car was ok! I had no idea it was that bad....
I'm just upset I missed my favorite DJ TERMINUS to be at this party. Hopefully the next one goes better guys! Good luck!

i just hope that the event i am working on right now for summer won't have the same kind of luck. this will be the first one that myself and a few other people will be putting on to try and re-establish a scene in bend in due time.
bend is notorious for punk kids that want things their way, right away. you have their parents to thank for that. bend is pretty much a miniature Beverly Hills. the snobby people from SoCal moved here and brought their kids with them to keep them "safe" but this just created a whole new clusterfuck because those kids ran into other kids from the same area and they joined forces to become a legion of smartass, egotistical cocksuckers. on one hand, i want the event to be 18+ so there is less of a possibility that shit will get messed up but on the other hand 16+ sounds fair to try and give something back to the kids.
i also realize that bend has a lot of wigger kids that are down with MTV hip hop (if you can even call that shit hip hop) and would have some of the same demands that happened with ClubTek's event. argh, what a pain in the ass. looks like 2 rooms are in order if we plan on going 16+ so the little shitheads can have their and let the people who want to have some real fun not have to worry about gettin jacked around. looks like i might just buy a 300,000V stun gun just so if the little fuckers try and get up on my shit i can show em what they workin wit'. lol :|
i think it sucks what happened, but with all of the details that i have heard it isn't entirely the fault of ClubTek. all you can really accuse them of is trying to do something positive for the scene which backfired and shit all over them. big ups to them for making the effort. that is what really counts. you win some, and you lose some. with what happened, can anyone give me some advice on how myself and the others involved in our party can use to avoid a similar issue?

Wasn't that something wannabe gangstas did back in like '91 when they wanted to be just like NWA??? You guys should throw pajamma jammy jam 2 in like 4 years, and hold it in the Tacoma jail so that most of the people who went this year can still attend ;)

HOWEVER.....they should have realy known that if you do an event in the ghetto where everyone thinks its cool to be an asshole, then all the assholes will show up...and lemme tell ya....there were a lot of 10 yr old assholes there. who lets their 10yr old kid stay out all night anyway????
thats when you make it 18+ ;)

For insurance sakes 16+ is cheaper. For the promoter sakes 16+ doesn't root out too many people, and fake school ID's are easy enough to do. For the scene's sake it keeps out kids who really have no business there.
