THE RAVE SCENE DOES NOT EQUAL THE DRUG SCENE. I SEE PEOPLE AT PARTIES THAT HAVE NEVER GONE SOBER, AND DON'T EVEN DANCE, THEY JUST SIT AND GIVE PEOPLE MASSAGES ALL NIGHT. IN MY OPINION, YOU DON'T NEED DRUGS TO REACH EUPHORIA ON THE DANCE FLOOR, I DO IT EVERY TIME WITHOUT THEM...

Drugs in themselves, and in moderation are not necessarily evil. But in excess, or with out thinking about what you are ingesting into your body is what is called abuse. The abuse is what could be called evil. I don't want to hear about kids pushing themselves over the limit, possibly even dying; I don't want to see kids puking right in the middle of everybody (saw this at It's Like That on two occasions)
What Brady says is true! When I party sober, I reach a higher state than I could ever get with a chemical. And its such a clean, statisfying high. Its all from the groove; from your soul.

I was probably one of the kids you saw puking at it's like that!!! That party woke me up about my whole reason for going to parties and why I do drugs and what the fuck I am doing to myself!!! I realized that duh, drugs can enhance your experience and may allow you to feel and act and think more expressively than "normal" but I totally agree it is all about moderation. If you go to a party with a selfish shitty motive (self-gratification,to make money, etc.) no amount of drugs you feed yourself or others will make up for what you never had in the first place. Drugs have helped me learn more about what I already had before i got addicted. Now I am step by step getting a clear head so i can make some REAL friends at parties and wherever I go, not just remember someone cuz they gave me something or did me a favor or was really nice cuz we were high together!!! well livluv23 i am so happy to hear that you have learned from your past mistakes (if that's what i can call them). you will not be disappointed at all. the people are amazing without the drugs. whenever i am at a party i use all of my memorees and feelings from the past when i met people and danced until i had nothing left to bring me energy and to go out and just hug the world. 99% of the time i am drug-free so it is like a special treat sometimes. not better. not worse. just a different vibe with e or without e.
well good luck in your quest to find yourself. believe in who you are and you'll do fine.
love and support...

I totally agree that in moderation drugs are not a bad thing. For some people it helps them relax and get to know other people as well as themselves. It helps them to look at things in a more positive manner.
I recently have to sit down and talk to a friend of mine about her over indulgance problem. She has become one of those kids who brag how fuck up they are on all these drugs.
It really sucks when people take what can be a good thing and run all over it. It takes away from the experience.
Take care :)

Thanks for replying everyone, when I used the word "EVIL" I just thought it fit, but now that I think about it, it doesn't. I have seen too many people ruin their lives over drugs and alcohol, so everyone out there please watch out for your friends. We don't need more deaths to learn this lesson.
Peace everyone,
Brady
