at earthdance i saw a big muscly guy who was dancing like a hamster on speed and hooping and having lots of fun right in front ofthe visuals and later in the morning the same guy was running bunches and bunches of laps with binky in mouth and i just have to say it was one of the funniest things i've ever seen.

And he was wearing just shorts like at 1 o'clock in the morning?
I actually found him more strange than cool, as he kept chasing me and Alexia down and talking in jibberish to us. I was quite alarmed.
Was he sober?

I didn't talk to that guy but I did find it interesting that he had a binky on very early, like at 6pm then all the way to the morning...wow...

His name was Ray, and he's a pretty nice guy.
As for him being sober, not exactly.
Sort of like the ocean is 'not exactly' dry.

I am the boi who ran laps around the farm, at least 6 in all. My first one was at 2am, under a moonless shy none the less, and took 8 minutes. My 5th one was at 7:30am and was just under 7 minutes. I like the way it feels to run, when sober and when not.
I have orthrodontic braces and the binky helps me not rub against them all night. It is kinda embarassing to see that you all noticed the binky so prominately. Gotta do something about that.
Let me introduce myself. I'm an intern at Microsoft creating new programming languages. I don't want to give the impression that I'm a lane brain (or 'gerbil, binkee, running laps boy') that is simply inebriated at parties. If you stop to talk to me for a while, you may find me quite lucid and pleasant. I have completed five college degrees, I'm one a year away from a Ph.D. and an MBA, and have written one book on programming languages, travelled all over the US and parts of Europe, worked for four Fortune 50 companies and the US Joint Chiefs of Staff. So I figure you are either thinking right now, "Ray is boasting or Ray is still an idiot." Either way, I lose.
I have an accent from New Orleans, my hometown. During the past ten years, I've lived in Tucson, Houston, San Antonio, Seattle, and Las Vegas. Earth Dance was definitely a stellar event that I'll remember forever. I only wish I had just one close friend to share it with and recall the event years from now. Regardless, I enjoy all the acquintainces I've make here. Thanks to everyone that said hello.
