i think the phono line on the left channel is blown.
it will only play out of the right speaker when the crossfader is on channel 2...i'm not really a stereo expert by any means.
also the crossfader bleeds.
my tables work just fine with other mixers..so i'm sure it's not the 1200's

check this: i had this problem with my vestax as well. the problem is that your upfader for chanel two is fucked. try swapping out the upfaders, if possible with your mixer, and you'll see if I'm right.
Oh, and if the crossfader bleeds, sorry, you need a new fader.

lol
sounds tragic.
my concern is that the problem lies within the in's and out's on the back of the mixer
thanks for the tip i'll switch them out and see if it works. my sub channel works really well..hadnt thought about that.

yes, try switching the chanel two fader with the sub fader, and tell us how it goes.

on a related note:
my pmc-250 has stopped functioning as well. this happened over the course of a move. i plugged it back in, and i get power, but i get no LED readout that the mixer is recognizing the input from the turntables. when i swapped to a djm-300, everything worked fine. i'm halfway through taking apart the 250, and i plan to look for loose connections, but beyond that, i have no fucking clue what is going on inside the mixer.
