I am asking what this car is worth, I think your blue booking this car in California at less than mint value. I had a dealership offer me $4000, and you know what rip-offs they are. the tranny has less than 500 miles on the rebuild.... Honda fans know this car is nice. oooh, and I dont know where you blue booked it, cuzz kelly blue book on it is 5000.

im sorry, but youre probably not going to sell the car at that price. i had an 86 lx-i with a few mor miles on it, custom bmw m3 silver paint job, 16 inch wheels, eibach springs, intake, exhaust, $8000 worth of stereo equipment that peaked out at 146 decibals (thats between a gunshot and a jet engine taking off for reference) new clutch blah blah blah (pretty much everything you could ever want) but still, i sold the whole thing for $2,600 (yes, i paid dirt for the stereo cause i worked at the store) but still, i couldnt get rid of the car! and the blue book value just isnt that high, i believe you are mistaken. it was at 4,000 high in oregon when i sold mine a year and a half ago. through my experience, your best bet is to part it out, or keep all the custom parts, and sell the car itself to some piece of ghetto trash that lives in a trailor for cheap. i wish i would have done it that way, but i was on time restraints. i had three weeks to sell it before i came to college. good luck!

its cool kids, I know 5000 is a lot of e, so dont go askin your mommy for more money to come out of your allowance... and if you truly check the online blue book its on there, 5000, can you say .... firm. But hey what do I expect when half the people on here are on mommy and daddies bill and dont even know what the difference between an 89 and an 86. images/smilies/tongue.gif

dumbass i went to www.kellybluebook.com! (http://www.kellybluebook.com!) True the RETAIL blue book value is $5K but who in their right mind is going to offer you the retail price? hahahaha

www.kellybluebook.com (http://www.kellybluebook.com) quoted me $2,450 for that car.

one more thing, if a dealership offered you $4000 then i STRONGLY suggest you sell it to them cause no one is gonna be offering you $4K for that otherwise!

HAHAHAHA!! Ya, okay, maybe the little newbies are in this situation but not people like myself a few others.

Ha ha ha ha, good luck selling a car for that much, ESPECIALLY when you have talked shit to everyone who's posted in your thread.

Beautiful salesmanship!

ummm... dickhead... there IS no difference between 89 and 86 when youre talking about honda accord lx-i's... and who is on their mommy and daddy's bill? you? im sure not! i work my ass of for my money working in a coffee shop and trying to get three businesses of my own off the ground. so you can SUCK MY BALLS! someday you will come to the realization that youre not going to get over a third of what the car cost BRAND NEW 12 YEARS AGO! yes, hondas are great cars, but no one wants to pay way too much for a gay ass old rice rocket thats already been seen around town. i had to learn the hard way that no one wants someone elses project. i hope you curb your wheels! sorry to be so angry, but youre a fucking dick!

ooooh, I'm sorry Muffin. It sounds like you need a hug and a compliment. Here... I'm sure you are a very important and intimadating person and I am sure you are hung like a horse. Please don't smite me with your awesome powers. Is this about a car or is this about caffine withdrawals. If you need someone to talk to I know a few good people. Just remember it only seems like the end of the world at the time. Just take a deep breath and calm down. Maybe a little sport sex will help your outlook on life. I find when I'm unreasonably unbalanced I go for a run, have you tried that.
good luck with your mania,

ooh... it sounds like you have gone through years and years of abuse from your peers to build up your smart ass responses. or were you just the asshole on the playground who would talk shit to everyone who walked by and never made friends? i dont know who the fuck you think you are, but if you cant handle consructive criticism, go somewhere else. the board is mostly made up of NICE people who are looking to share their views and ideas and meet new people. not try to hock their cars in a gear and equipment forum becuase theyre "tired of them." and btw. your website sucks. you might consider putting some pictures of your shitty ass car up there so peeps can see just how old school it really is.

Who cares if the car is a rip off you dont have to buy it

as I saw it, it wasn't so much a matter of greencell wanting to buy/not wanting to buy a car at such a high price. I kinda got the impression that scorpiorabbit was slamming him ("its cool kids, I know 5000 is a lot of e, so dont go askin your mommy for more money to come out of your allowance... ") and to be honest, not only would I respond as greencell did, but I'd prolly post a "why scorpiorabbit is dumb" url... or something like that... not that this is my argument or anything...
