I really don't think you're going to get anyone to loan you tables. If you live in Portland you're welcome to use mine, but you have to understand one can't just make a tape. It takes a serious commitment and a load of time to be able to spin. I think you might want to change your senior project.
i have a extra mixer that you could borrow, or have for 100 bucks, where do you live? and how will i know i will get it back? but yeah i decided to learn how to mix a long long time ago, saved and saved bought the best damn decks i could and its been practice practice practice ever since ... its hard ... harder then you probably think ... if you love the music and really like the idea of attempting to mix then do it but if your just gonna learn make some tape and then give it up .. is it really worth it? so anyways yes you can borrow my mixer and then if you decide you want to stik with the dj thing you can buy it off me or something ... my email is jermz@nwtekno.org or my cell is 206-235-0616 just drop me a line sometime or email me and we will meet up (i also have some pretty junky house records you could borrow just for practice, its what i learned on and they all are kinda sucky tracks but it works for learning how to mix and you dont have to worry about f-ing up your favorite record) get ahold of me! bye for now and good luck
