Dude, my DJM-300 has no fader curve... lame. What's better, vestax or Raine? I really like the feel of Vestax faders...

Rane is a better mixer. Their mixers are like butter especially the TTM56, and the Empath mixers.

Sorry but I just played on a Tascam scratch mixer over the weekend. It was pathetic. Touch the mixer with any kind of pressure and "bam" feedback. Not to mention it also felt like I was plaing on something by Playschool. Go with a Rane Empath (has the versatility to play techno and be a scratch mixer) or the ttm56 (Sick scratch mixer)
I wouldn't trade my 07pro though. I dig what it has to offer. I just takes awhile to adjust to the 3band eq being on faders.
My 2cents.

yea, that is what kinda felt strange about the 07 pro. i am used to knob eq's and it kinda bugged me out to adjust to them. i eventually got my rane and am in love with it and also have the 07. always good to have a back up mixer, but this rane is solid, the features own the 07, and the sound is incredible. the crossfader on the rane just feels way better, and it has way more cut imho.
i also have tried a tascam mixer. i was worried i was gonna break it because it felt really flimsy and cheap to me. stick with rane or vestax.
