TNA & Blueprint present
JAY TRIPWIRE (Northern Lights, Vancouver)
@ LARGE
A Large long weekend with three of Vancouver's premiere producer/deejays in the main room: special guest Jay Tripwire joins Large residents DJ Ali and Luke McKeehan. Dana D, Kamandi and Spilt Milk upstairs with a special hip-hop & dancehall clash in room 2. The last long week of the summer -- you know it's going to be ... Large!
With upcoming releases on Yoshi Toshi, Tango, Nordic Trax plus gigs at Bedrock (UK) and a forthcoming South American tour, Jay Tripwire continues to climb up the ranks as a top international DJ. Another fine case of hometown boy makes good. Meanwhile DJ Ali has been a fixture in the local underground for over a decade, but only recently has been able to break out of the Northwest. Now touted as the next big thing from Vancouver, with releases on Tilted, Night Shift, Leaf, Village and many more you can now go to any record shop in London or San Francisco and see a wall dedicated to Vancity's own DJ Ali. Finally, Nordic Trax head honcho Luke McKeehan has been busy on the road with gigs this summer in Chicago, NY, San Francisco and Portland while promoting all things NT, including DJ Heather's latest cd project 'Dancefloor Principles'.
Doors 10:00pm - 4:00am
$8 b4 midnight / $10 after * subject to capacity
