No worries on it getting hot either!

On October 3rd, I approached One Productions with the proposition to print their flyers as well as dj.

On October 17th, I was told that they had their flyer printing covered but would be glad to have me spin. I replied back asking them to contact me via email with more specific information regarding the booking. It is important to me to find out where the event is occuring, what room i'd be playing in, timeslot, compensation for gas/time, etc. I feel that these are the basic elements of any booking procedure.

As time passed no emails were received from One Productions so I took a booking at the Ohm Nightclub in Portland. No need to pass up a booking at a fresh club. The sound system is hot and the dance floor is always packed.

While online this week, Frankie Dubs popped in to inquire about the One Productions booking. I said, "What booking!" He informed me of the link to this thread as well as the fact that he was mysteriously booked as well. I was shocked.

As much as i'd love to play at this event, i'm obviously going to have to pass. It really frustrates me this happened because I don't get the opportunity to play in Washington as much as i'd like. Big ups to Lovetribe and Goodbeat for the recent hookups though.

About half the people I know use one and half, the other. The Dowlz has known me since high school and thus he used my nick. I'm with Grooveside. wow it seems that everything is coming together....i just want everyone to know that despite the bullshit in the past i think that now would be a good time to start over and work together as a scene and not become angry towards eachother...despite what kind of drama that has occured with ANY of us I will be the first to come out and say that ive had my share of shit and ive said my share of stupid bull shit drama, but it's time to grow up...Corey and Steph have been friends of mine for a good while...they where always there when i needed them and they helped me through hard times such as i was always around when they needed a hand or a friend. I want everybody to know that yeah Corey can get all retaliatious and be a poopie sometimes, but arent we all...this board is a sespool for stupid drama shit...lol *past experiences known* so anyone who wants to continue to bag on them, go ahead, but all that does is make you look childish and immature. Ive seen alot of friendships fall apart in this joke we call a scene, it makes me really sad that people dont hold up to their words, and that even if someone says they're ur best friend, odds are they will be talkin shit about you somewhere down the road of dirty ravers...for those of you who are actually down to be urselves and not be bullshit pieces of el crapo i salute you and hope that you continue to be urself and not let the LED lights and vapor rub turn you into a drunken angered individual who doesnt remember that at one point they were a different person...just like corey and steph, they were different people before but they are trying to make jam out of sour grapes..give them some slack and remember that everybody has their own phase. They have grown in so many ways, and i for one know that all they want to do is make everything work out for the best...despite personal old school drama they are good people even though corey is super grouchy in the morning lol also remember that half the time people say shit on here it's not even how they feel, it's like bein in highschool again....grr...lol so yeah go to the party, im proud to say that i will be workin on the ONE CREW on this one...they have shown me that they are here to get down and not fuck with stupid drama shit anymore...lol corey promises not to talk shit anymore...he pinky swore, and theres no more negativity lets have fun guys and remember IT'S ONLY A PARTY IF SOMEONE GETS NEKED!!!

It's been really interesting watching this thread progress, especially since I don't know most of ya'll personally and I don't know what past drama is being spoken about. I just know that I'm looking foreward to having some local djs make my butt dance!
I know how crazy it can be to pull a houseparty together...and only an idea of what it takes to get something on this scale off the ground.
It's kind of nice being able to see how everything is pulling together in the last week here...watching the wrinkles being smoothed over, not at all like massives at the exhibition center where everything technical seems to happen in some far off place. It feels more personal being able to see some of the effort going into it. I'm looking foreward to being able to do my little part!
