We have always respected people dates Karissa ... If you only knew how many parties did'nt happen because we did. In this case I am actually hurt by your post. Unfortunate when you assume without knowing the facts. Our party did'nt come out of nowhere, we have been planning something for NYE for sometime and after communicating closely with the other promoters on who's doing what, etc ... We decided now would be a great time to go through with it. Not many crews we're left in the dark about our plans. It is also NYE and Holiday events you are bound to get other things going on. May I ask?How come you have'nt posted anything negative on other people wanting to do anything the same night of freaknight? ;) We are'nt going for a massive. Just a really intimate night based on great music and excellent production.

Either way. I am 100% positive both will be a great party. :)

Well we are! **Sticks tongue out!** :);) For many reasons.
One very important one being we feel the Hall is the only venue we can truly produce an intense atomosphere and stage production. So much harder to create a vibe in a massive hollow venue. The hall has so much character and gives a promoter unlimited variations when it comes to production. That is why majority of all the parties there have had only one thing in common. The same venue.

Trust us. We are looking to make the venue look extra nice for this event :)

How many venues allow you to create this type of atmosphere? :)

It's a great venue for production. Since the tempeture dropping in Seattle the ventilation has been much, much better..... Plus we will we have tons of fans pushing the air flow. :)

Seattle has enough great DJs to take on any city, and Chad is at the top of the heap along with Paul & Zach and maybe a couple more. It's awesome to see a rockin NYE party with almost all locals. :cool:

John has been djing for 10 years and has since grown from strength
to strength.
He made his first career steps in Cape Town,
South Africa where he played the legendary Vortex Open Air
parties. His bookings included sets at the Bar Do Me, The White Room and Pharside.
His first ever production, Paragon EP, was for the Belgian label Yellow Cab in 1995. The years 1998/99 were special for
him as he got well noticed for his remix for Van Bellen, La Paloma
(Sounds Good), which entered the Top 20 Dance Charts in the UK.

In January 2000, John has become Label manager of Alphabet City's
UK division (Red Light District + Alphabet City UK). Furthermore,
he set up his own label, Sonic City, which also runs under the
Alphabet City banner.

here is a updated version of John Johnsons bio:
Born in Milan in 1972, John was educated in South Africa where he
studied chemical engineering at Cape Town Univeristy. It was through
his student days that John started DJing around the intimate clubs of
Cape Town to support himself through his university years. As John's
DJing profile grew , the small 500 capacity clubs where he had first
started, were turning into massive parties & festivals. John knew he
had a acheived a certain level in his DJing career when he spun
Celvin Rotane's "I Believe" to 5000 clubbers at Cape Town's Vortex
Rave which literally blew the roof off the airport hanger it was
being held in. The 3.30 club in Durban was another memorable venue
John enjoyed paying at, as it "was full of total nutters", a crowd he
now compares to the Gallery crew at Turnmills, London.
John, who cites his influences as Sasha,John Digweed,Carl Cox and
Paul Oakenfold, got his production break when he released Dove Beat's 'La Paloma' in 1996 on Sounds Good Records. This track proved a huge success and after its release the remix work started to pour in from the likes of Oliver Lieb, John Digweed, Matt Darey. John was also contacted by the likes of Lenny Kravitz,Jennifer Lopez and Justin Timberlake for remix work which John sites as one of the highlights of his career.
With the high profile remix work came high profile DJ gigs. During
the last 4 years John regulary plays in many of the World's top
clubs from Cream,Gatecrasher,Bedrock (UK), Velfarre (Tokyo) to Space (Miami) and Central Station (Sidney) to Sternradio (Berlin).
Johns biggest gig to date has to be the outdoor festival in Buenos Aires (March 2000) where he played to a crowd of 100,000 clubbers
alongside Ferry Corsten & Mauro Picotto.
Early 2004 is when John plans to release his next single. 'I Want
You' which comes equiped with remixes from Van Bellen of Saints and Sinners fame and Circuitbreaker. if that wasn't enough, John is also putting the finishing touches to his new artist album which is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2004

I have never quite figured out why the sexual urges of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their heads and women with their hearts. I have never figured out why the sexual desire gene gets thrown into a state of turmoil when it hears the words "I do."

One evening last week, my wife and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion started to heat up, and she eventually said, "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me." I replied, "WHAT????!!!" So she said the words that every husband on the planet dreads to hear; "You must not be in tune with my emotional needs as a woman."

I'm thinking, "What was her first clue?" I finally realized that nothing was going to happen that night, so I went to sleep. The very next day, we went shopping at a big, unnamed dept store. I walked around with her while she tried on three different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take, so I told her to take all three. When she wanted matching shoes, I said, "Let's get a pair for each outfit."

We went to the jewellery department where she got a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you...she was so excited, she must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis. I think I threw her for a loop when I said it was OK. She was almost sexually excited from all of this. You should have seen her face when she said, "I think this is all, dear. Let's go to the cash register."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No, honey, I don't feel like buying all of this stuff now." You should have seen her face...it went completely blank. I then said, "Really, honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while."

And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "You must not be in tune with my financial needs as a man."

I figure that I won't be having sex again until sometime after the spring...
