He is a regular artist (and electronic engineer) at Burning Man. He is going to have some outstanding lighting effects to contribute to this event. OMFG I can't wait!

i'm pretty sickened by all the bs that has just happened......i have a very bad taste of how fucked up some people can be. i don't really want to ever go to a party in seattle ever again.

here's what happened. i worked my ass off, and so did my crew for tony's rez party. we put in about 20 hours in build time. then when we pulled down, i went to jon, the venue manager about all the holes in the walls and how we could fix them. he went off of me for an hour. i gave him $20 for the paint and totally repainted the downstairs and the upstars area where we were. it took 4 hours.

this was my 7th party. i didn't know about alot of things that jon brought to my attention for the FIRST time. he said that i can never decorate at the hall again. but i asked for patience, as i was new, and he said no. but i fixed the problem anyway, regardless, because it was the right thing to do.

so i've been unbooked for all of the shows at the hall, this one, and mythica. jon made 2 girls on my crew cry. that's fucked up. i see his point on respecting the venue, but if i have no idea, i have no idea. i've kept my word and done the adult responsible thing.

also he said that people kept coming to him complaining about bodyart. and i must say, that i've never heard these people personally. he can't produce them. so i say "prove it". it has always been popular and an attraction and i've been told that it lends a special feeling to a party.

my primary purpose at a party is to create something beautiful for everyone. i've lost a minimum of $150 every time i've done a party. i've spent $2,500 out of my own pocket for the promotion of the chill rooms and the body art. i like to see the scene grow. that's why i do what i do.

if i was out to screw jon, i would have not helped clean up after the last 5 parties, or given him $150 worth of wood, that i spent my own money on, or gotten rid of the fleas in the downstairs chill space for imperial wickedness reunion, helped clean up before the parties, helped clean up and move things around, assisted with security for keep HIS venue secure, smoothed things out with the venue OWNERS when they wanted to close it down, etc., etc., etc., and he accuses me of being high. i don't use anything. i don't drink or use drugs.

but he seems to think that i'm out to screw him. he doesn't realize the work i've put into helping maintain this place for the scene.
