I am totally with you guys up in Seattle my heart and soul supports what
you're doing to reclaim your right to be and enjoy music. I encourage
everyone who has a little bit of energy to send it to the ppl who are
standing up for their freedom. This is the day! This is the hour! Right
now! Take back your freedom! <little rant>
There is a seed that was planted long ago-at Come Alive it poked its head
from the Mother Earth and was welcomed by that vibe and now it is ready to
be nurtured so here it is:
What do ppl think of a Temple space created in Portland? We are going to
call it the Temple of Sound. Non-denominational, totally devoted to freedom
and liberation for all beings, on land in NW that will be purchased (and
within the city) open to men and women, with rooms for meditation, reading,
music, exercise, an office, a community kitchen, rooms for ppl to stay
overnight when coming to pdx for parties. How would it be funded? By sales
of posters, jewelry, clothes, incense, crafts, books, music, food, etc to the
raver community and beyond. The upkeep of the house would be done by ppl
who are "reverends in residence" who would pay rent to stay there and
maintain the space.
A space for house parties, for learning, for creating change in the world.
Part of a world wide movement towards freedom for all through the universal
language of sound.
Why the Temple of Sound? Well, all sound is vibration. All form is
vibration. The Ocean from which all things emerge from and return to ( no
matter what you want to name it) is vibration, sound, music. ( So raves can
be under the umbrella of religious celebration, so they cannot be broken
up.) I am ordained as a reverend by the Universal Life Church which accepts
all beliefs and respects everyone's right to have a direct connection to the
source.(I recommmend everyone get ordained, its fun, why not?) So this
would be a LEGALLY RECOGNIZED church, with the same legal rights. I have a
vision of this place coming to be and then spreading to other cities where
others establish Temples of sound in their home or where ever in order to
honor music and themselves as sacred and to prevent the violation of those
rights by an increasingly oppressive regime.
I am really interested in what ppl think of this idea and also if you make
anything : music, clothes, paintings, ANYTHING, please let me know so i can
connect with you. The time to claim the future is now!
P*L*U*R* to all!
May the long time sun shine upon you
All love surround you
And the pure light within you
Guide your way on.
You are sooo rad jasmine!!! Once again, thinkin' exactly what i'm thinking!!!!! Sounds like a plan!! Are you going to care-alot tomorrow??? If so, can I get a ride???

Though we have had some difficult times, we have also had some amazing times, and did some some amazing things, all with the community as our driving force. We have sought to respond to the needs of our community in as many way s possible while maintaining our integrity and our focus on the original goal: to bring peace to all beings through music. " I have a
vision of this place coming to be and then spreading to other cities where
others establish Temples of sound in their home or where ever in order to
honor music and themselves as sacred and to prevent the violation of those
rights by an increasingly oppressive regime."
These too are still goals. With the tansition of our society from one age to another and a ego-centric vision, to a love/unity-centered vision (which is essential to our survival on Earth) the culture we participate in has a huge role in the way that people around us feel, think, and act. By nurturing healthy interactions we are leading the way to another way of being that does not injure the soul/inner self.
As time passes and more and more people say: thank you for completely changing my life, thank you for helping me heal, "thank you for regeneration of energy much needed"(an note left by "shell" to thank us for participating in an event. ), and see in so many ways that the point has made it through to people. We are gaining momentum. People need healing now more than ever. And we are going to continue to successfully offer this to the community until the whole world is treated as sacred and there will be no need for any temples but the sun and the sky.
Until then, we are further pursuing the goal of purchasing a piece of property in portland. We are making progress in identifing some ideal sites right now, so all of you who care to share your love, send it. We are seeking to make a safe and respectful place for our culture within the world culture so that we may truly contribute in with our full potential.
Thought affects life. Sound affects life, Thought affects (synergizes with) the expression of sound. We have the ability to conscioiusly transform by invoking through music the sacred patterns that will harmonize us.
For more information on this, for those who are still confused about what we are talking about are referred to: The Isaiah Effect by Gregg Braden which clearly and poetically describes the effect of thought on form by using quantum physics as his language (very relevant to our current world climate~!) The Mozart Effect by dan Campbell is another excellent book. This one describes the role of music in healing and in mental emotional and spiritual health in general. And for those who want a quick fix, there is http://www.alphaomega.se/english/cymatics.htmlhttp://www.alphaomega.se/english/cymatics.html
which outlines some of the ground breaking initial work done by science to echo and re-validate this ancient truth: sound affects form.
yes i remember janelle very well. I am sure we will never forget each other. :)
We are continuing to work towards the goals we set out in the beginning despite the attempts of many to defame us, to shut us down, to slander us. This is much more important to me and (i feel) to our culture than that. I plan on doing this kind of work until I die. It is what I am here for. It is why I chose to be born on Earth again at this time: to participate in this sacred dance of cocreation that allows us to decide which reality we are going to share. There is no way that this vision will fail. It will only continue to transform until the most perfect expression of the divine will is manifest. I long ago gave over my life to the needs of the Beloved Divine. It gets more beautiful every day. We are living our pleasant life with vigor. Time to upgrade. To repgrogram the consciousness (for there is only one of us) and rebirth the innocence in wisdom that allows us to live peacefully together.
My deepest gratitude to those who have walked with us on this road and shown us thier support and truly become our family because it is their love that has allowed this idea to bloom and to grow.
I have a computer available to me for awhile (thanks david!) and so I will be online posting updates much more often as long as I have it.
Keep your ear to the ground. Read a good book! Be as peaceful as you can be every day. And it all gets better from there. It allows you to master (as one "street person" told me a couple of days ago as he strolled along singing in a rich tenor voice and asking for change) the ancient art of paying attention. "The ancient art of paying attention is so simple. So universallly applicable. But it is difficult to be simple. Easy to get complicated. "
Much love to all,
Peace prevail on Earth,
tribal vibration tranceforming all nations;

Yours is a collective vision that I think we all can align our intentionality on, and see it through to it's fruition. Any thing is possible... if we just say so...
You know, you all have my support!
