while we're looking for asst. turntable parts, I'm also looking for a good condition tonearm base (preferably with good tonearm lifter condition and with tonearm lock... though unbroken base is key) and possibly power knob (I only really need the plastic knob).

anyone want to part out an old broken technics 1200? i need a pitch control that will work in a pre-1996 model.

BTW don't tell me to go to the store and buy one. the newer pitch controls will not work in my deck because it is too old. i've already tried.

this probably won't help elektrokid but turntable parts are available at www.pssl.com. (http://www.pssl.com.) I think a tonearm is 'bout 90 bucks

what i found out is that the newer models have a new circuit board as well as pitch. have no fear however. there are still only four colored wires that connect it to the main circuit board. the updated circuit board costs about $30 and a pitch control is roughly $20. $50 to update your deck!

thank you turntable gods! now i can go to san francisco!

1200s.com has tone arms for $64.95. they are always out of stock though so you have to wait a couple months them.

the national Technics repair shop is in Kent (believe it or not). look it up, or do a search on the board, the info is on here somewhere...
they have everything in stock, and are mutros cheaper than anywhere else...
