I love this tune by 0=0!

I had never heard zero equals zero before this stream with DJ Bailey. Does anyone know where I can get more info on this guy and hopefully download some tasty MP3s?

oh geez, you got me pussicore... ;)

i just wanted to add:
i don't think 0=0 will be making it on any big labels anytime soon simply because his beats are far too complex in general. which is ironic because it's my favorite style. he is currently getting signed to the ragga labels and some breakcore labels that distribute in japan. just wish there was more stuff like this.

jungle selekta, have you been to www.ragga-jungle.com yet?

There are tons of excellent downloads there for those that like their beats complex. Actually, the whole Toronto jungle scene seems to be really tearin it up right now. I would recommend registering an account at ragga-jungle.com so you can download some tracks from people like Rhygin, Preecha, and 16armedjack that are really killin it at the mo'.

Preecha actually has his own site that has tons of downloads of mixes and original tunes at www.jungleforever.com.

Quality stuff.

easy.

word up.. i've been on that site for about a year... props to rhygin...
haha, something funny about this is the only locals that play style are the people i am most (secretly) competitive with, such as rama. i wonder if we can build somekind of scene this year. however, my personal taste is getting darker and darker. my friends predicted it, but they don't know exactly..... check out the "dark thoughts" mix on 206... that's also pretty wikked. i haven't been feeling preecha's sets just because they are overwhelming and not to be crytical, but they don't seem planned out. it's like a new wave of intelligent jungle. imagine these tracks with their sub bass on a system like last night's rave party! :)

www.ragga-jungle.com is the shit. Check out NW local area producer Dialekt. He's making waves with his tunes. Also peep the live mixes from ERS1, he's one hell of a talented DJ.

Respect!

I'm glad to know there are others here diggin that totally cut up and fucked amen sound. Jungle Selektah, Where do you play out mate? I like the darker stuff too. If you're layin down these kinda tunes, I'd love to hear it live and on a proper system! I'm going to find that mix you suggested and download it for starters.

And thanks for the link to that 0=0 mix you two! I'm downloading it now and quite pleased to see that there are plenty originals on there.

Hey DJ owns! I downloaded one of your sets just the other day! I've been playing it pretty much non-stop the last few days! Word! It's the one from September 2003. Big up ya chest m8!

Are there any places in the Seattle area to hear ragga jungle played out? I haven't lived here long and so far I've discovered that I like Chop Suey and the Baltic Room. Is there somewhere I can hear some good ragga jungle? or even dancehall?

Apparently I need to hear Rama. It's on my list of things to do already. Other recommendations are much welcomed.

I'm working on getting into the seattle area. I do a lot of jungle stages and events here in PDX, and generally try and keep a diverse lineup of the jungle flavors. Audio1, Angst, Ers1 and Axiom are playing a shindig I'm cordinating for the 19th of march.

Aye rama, sounds wicked. I've heard several of the producers you listed and I dig there tunes, so it sounds like you speak my language. Are any of those producer stationed in Seattle? I would like to get to know some producers here because I'm a musician/pseudo-producer and it's always nice to know who you can talk shop with.
