November 26th, 1999...Operation:SMILE, a non-profit party benefitting the organization actually known to be Operation Smile, going to children and teens worldwide, and performing facial reconstruction to burn victims, car accident victims, etc...as well as aiding those whom suffer from facial defects and cleft palate disorders....please come. It's an ACTUAL GOOD CAUSE...not the biggest party, like FreakNight or any of those...and, a special plus for those that feel it, NOT AT NAF. You can pick up the tickets at Concepts and Platinum...and remember, it really is for a good cause.

I would enjoy speaking with you regarding how I may get invilved. I live in Portland and Iam 32. Memories of the actions, and passion of people 15yrs ago in LA and Orange County are the reason I have been involved in the situation here in the NW. The potential for everyones enjoyment and success is quite possible here in Portland.

We all can either climb it by putting our egos and attitudes aside etc... etc...
Or we WILL hang from this rope due to the inability to truly come together for a great cause which will eventually affect us all.

I am very interested in helping out with this one. I live in pdx so i could probably only do publicity if it was in seattle, but i will pass out fliers, make posters, find ppl tp sell drinks at the party, whatever. i have a question about this party.

it says nonprofit on the flyer.

then on the back it says "all profits from water sales go to operation smile".

does that mean that only the profits from water sales are being donated? i'm confused.

no, it's only that 100% of the water proceeds goto the organization...with expenses and all that there's no way i could put 100% of the ticket proceeds into the organization....just not feasible, without going under and down into a hole

You misunderstand...I AM putting a portion of the ticket proceeds into the pot as well...but like you stated yourself, I still have to cover expenses....:)
