This may seem like it belongs in Blaintant Self promotin but I'm sure anyone who would like to be a better DJ will be interested in the below.

Presenting The United Artists Network’s

Turntable Lab

The UAN is opening up a Turntable Studio on Capital Hill. We are currently taking early registration for Membership and Class Enrollment. As a member of the studio you’ll have up to 60 hrs of turntable access as well as discounts on classes, and events.

Some of the goals for this studio include:
-A classroom for our turntable seminars and courses.
-A place where people who don't own thier own turntables can practice.
-For DJs who can't crank up the music at home, we'll be open late!
-To create a place for DJs to come together, learn from each other, and share ideas.

This is an ADVANCE SIGNUP DISCOUNT. Prices will go up after open, but you’ll be locked in for 4 months at these membership rates. You won't have to pay anything until we open, however this will help us to see if there is substantial interest in this project.

The advanced sign up membership is:

$35 per month unlimited Studio Use +

$100 per course (4 hour sessions weekly, for 4 weeks)

I think this is an awesome idea, especially if you want some place to realy crank it up..

What kind of equipment is available to play on? ie: tables, speaker boxes, amps, etc..

Can you bring your own??

Right now we're working on a sponsorships for the equipment. If we rally enough support in the next month, we could end up with all new gear. Our current business plan optins support from five to fifteen turntable stations.

As for bringing your own gear, that coul dbe arranged I'm sure, we'll have to see once everything is up and running.
