Crew originating from the Rocky Mountain region is planning our premier event in Bellingham. We are looking to connect with local production companies to meet up with and discuss ins and outs of production in and around this area. We are also looking for local talent ready to tear it up. If you are interested in playing, have any ideas or would like to meet up and discuss these issues with us please contact us at mazzypaz@hotmail.com or djeff307@hotmail.com or give us a call at 360-656-5959.... talk to Jeff, Mindy, Kevin or Lacy
we are also planning an open tables night weekly at WWU in collaboration with the E.M.C., more info coming soon.....

Sounds awesome... Kid Kaboom and I could come drop some records for you.. we both live on campus. I would be careful planning a "premier" event here... the scene is nearly dead and Seattle kids RARELY want to travel.

Now I wouldn't say that the scene is dead here in B'ham but it does take a lot more promoting for the events. I helped promote for Undercover an all drum and bass show at the 3-B and we threw out 5000 flyers and about 115 people showed up for a Wednesday night show during summer break. There are people that will show up from Seattle but just don't really count on it. Most of them aren't willing to drive for an hour and a half with the events that they have going on down there. But if you promote well there can be a great turn out from the Mt. Vernon, Burlington, and Marysville areas. I think Yogi can agree with me on that point.

I am down to help anyway that I can, I help with Wednesday nights at Club Fiesta where we cover turntablism, drum & bass, house and breaks with rotating residents Manifest, Dharma J and myself. I also work down at Sonic Index Bellinghams only electronic record store which would be a great place to start if you want to get people involved.

Hope to hear from you soon,

postal

I'm always down to throw some jungle up that way. I live in Oak Harbor...so that's just a lil drive up north for me. Hit me back with a pm with an address and I'll send you a demo.

Yeha I'm about an hour south of B'Ham. I'm stuck in boring ass Everett. I'd be down to shoot up that way for parties here and there. I've been thinking we need to try to get things flowing up this way. most of the north enders are DJ's, the party kids are south. I don't really know how we're gonna get the north end on the ball but we can try eh?? The last thing I can really remember that turned out any good up north was when "Da Shop" was around. Been to a few great parties up in B'Ham though....anyways yeah that'd be tight if you started something up.

We are trying to develop some new party kids! hopefully we can turn out a hopin scene up here, and eventually at least a few seattle kids will come out and support our scene like we do every weekend by traveling 2 hours, then spending all our cash just to get in the door. But either way, we are trying to get something together for all the kids around here, so seattle support or not, we are here to get down and funky!!! Peace!
