The end pieces of my RCAs were crushed in a flight case and are totally destroyed.
Has anyone been successful with replacing them with better RCAs? (gold monster cables) I know the solder job can be tricky since there's two groupings of wires on each line. Plus at high temps the iron can melt off other connections to the tonearm.
Does anyone know of a good shop in portland that's capable of this job?
any help is appreciated.

Platinum does the RCA job for $60.
They replace the stock ones for
thicker Gold plated rcas.
Anyone had this done?
I'm thinking of checking some other spots
first.

here ya go budy
To save money I just bought 1 pair of good cables----just one set that is-----i bought it long so i could just cut it in half and use both ends
make sure to not over heat the solder maybe pratice on some stuff you dont care about----if you dont have a solder gun go to walmart you can score them for about 10 bucks with solder
Goodluck---just take your time and make sure you unplug your decks from the power b4 opening them up.......
