KEXP has acquired a second signal! We will soon be simulcasting KEXP
on
91.7 FM out of Tacoma. Currently KBTC, the signal will be re-named
KXOT
when it begins simulcasting KEXP next Monday March 8th at 9:17am. The
signal's 7,900 watts covers Tacoma, Olympia, South King County and
beyond,
so you'll soon be able to hear KEXP from Everett to south of Olympia.

Also, if you have trouble receiving our current 90.3 FM signal wherever
you are, you might find it easier to receive the new signal (it's quite
a
bit stronger).

If you have friends who live in Tacoma, Olympia, South King County,
etc.,
please let them know that they can now listen to KEXP by tuning to 91.7
FM
beginning next Monday March 8th at 9:17am.

That is SO COOL.
Seattle is so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing station as KEXP. It is one of a kind, and quite seriously the best radio station in the world.
Maybe moving back in with the parents in Tacoma won't be so bad afterall =P

Despite the fact that I work and have a show on KAOS, I can say hands down that KEXP is far superior.
It'll be nice to have a radio station that is actually in touch with the youth culture, rather than a station of old dinosaurs who play mongolian showtunes all day.
It's about time!!!
