Brother and sisters does anybody know anyone
who seriously want to play live house grooves
with me on drums. I'm looking and looking and need some help locating these people (cause I know they're out there) So if you can help email me: ryan_bird@pacsci.org

many thanks

P.S. I don't limit myself to just house. That's just what I want to do. I also play drum and bass, jungle, trip-hop, acid jazz,
breakbeat, ambient, downtempo dub, trance,
hip-hop, funk, old school/new school, and just straight up style. I generate my style.

I may be interested yet I live in Grays Harbor, work, go to college, have a girlfriend, and am working on private projects currently, but if you can maybe give me a collaboration date I would be stoked to check it out. I am a loop ninja, a sample master, a latin/jazz/funk/punk/dub/reggae hip-hop percussionist(I don't rip but I'm decent), I can run MIDI, I play bass, and guitar. I own and run a Akai MPC2000. I really down with the idea of live and electronic mixed which has and always will be my eventual goal. I like dub/breakbeats/funk/acid jazz/house/big beat/drum'n'bass/trance/ambient/jungle/goa trip-hop and I'm really down with Ninja Tune Records. Give me a date, I want to check it out!

i'M WORKING ON A TIME/PLACE THING RIGHT NOW AND I'm generating more response from others.
So now there are several drummer/ percussionists to lay a foundation. I envision 3-5 drummers on drumsets (acoustic/
electronic) all respectively layering beats--
ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've got the energy...but Ill inform you of a date. no problem. I also want to visit Grays Harbor sometime see something new.
By the way I'm a ninja too.

So what exactly are your ideas on this deal, it sounds just sick as all hell but would be difficult to pull off especially without adequate equipment which would be a hell of alot of it. Are you interested at all in dabbling in any other areas of live organic/electronic music performance?

You are right a lot of equipment is neccessary, but this isn't an overnight type project. This is my life. So I'm serious, nad I've already got several interested drummers. I'm down to do almost anything, especially organic/electronic. What are you suggesting? I'm open for it all. Do you wanna get on this and work it? This is an electonica orchestra I'm conducting. Can you feel it?

I am sorta curious though .. I have worked a few times with Alot of musicians at once and have leardned that an overnight project is hard to pull off espesially with ppl you don't know. But thats not saying it doesnt work. Have you all gotten together yet? Ryan did you get my Email? about my Musicle pathways as you called them? anyways what are your? what are your influences?
