Scratch DJ?

I have been scratching for almost 2 years now and I think I have fallen into a rut. I am looking for other DJ's who love to scratch so we can trade tips and ideas (and just generally have a good time). I don't care if you are brand new to the whole thing or if you have been scratching for years and years. My only request is that you have at least one 1200.

When I get stuck in a rut I listen to X-men. The shit the do is fuck'n sic. Also- go get some new vinyl- try something a little different than you usually buy.
Are you in the Portland area? I'll have an apartment downtown (westside) in a little less than a week and I'm gonna get a new setup.
After that I'll be lookn for heads to scratch and mix wit. It's all about the crew- ya gotta have someone to do beats whil the other does scratches.

I have done all that. I have my DMC finals videos, ISP cd's, and all the other good stuff (I even took my video camera and recorded Q-Bert's and Craze's set at Dyanamo. I just need some real interaction with people.

have you ever tried to do fast loops with a dog meat deck? Or have you ever done tryed a scribble on a Newmark belt drive? If you have a TT-1 or a good Vastex deck its all good.

yeah im in the catagory of having shite decks but still wanting to learn to scratch. i'm working with what little i have..but i really have no idea where to start =(
been trying to get as much access to 1200's as possible but my scedules always too crazy.
and the only other people i know that scratch are many hours away.
anyone want to help a kid out?
