Dude, Where's My Country

I just pick up a copy of Dude, Where's My Country.. the new book from Michael Moore. I'm only about 30 pages into it, but I've learned more about George W. and his family's relationship witht the bin Laden family then I ever thought possible.. So far it's all the factual information and dark humor I had expected of Moore. Has anyone else read it?

Yeah, I read it last year. It's a good book. He definitely goes out of his way to show all of the sources as well, something that he didn't really do in Stupid White Men. I'm excited for F911 to come out...assuming it will at some point this year.

Keeping in mind they were not kept for questioning..and the fact that there was a period of day where ANY air traffic was forbidden, right after 9-11...

The book also talk about Bush's first oil company, "Arbusto"(spanish for shrub)... $50,000 -ot 5% of control of Arbusto came from Salem bin Laden (Osama bin Laden's brother.)

It goes in depth about The Bush's relationship with Saudi Royalty, about how Osama was on kidney dialysis (how hard is to to find a man hooked up to a kidney dialysis machine?)

While George Dubya was governor of Texas in '97, the Taliban travelled to Texas to meet with oil and energy giant, Unocal.



I'm leaveing Friday for a cruise to the Carribean so hopefully I'll be able to read the rest on the plane ride to Florida...

A few days ago F911 received the longest standing ovation (20 minutes of non stop clapping and cheering) in History at the Cannes Film festival. Now think of the crowd at an event like that. Most of the audience was probably made of other film makers, who by the way are not very easy to impress. I can't wait to see this flick.
