That is so true with me too, for once i didn't do a whole lot of talking mainly dancing (I had a tough week and needed to cleanse!!) But i did see and experience a lot with others!! I remember a girl with blue hair walking around so here is a be-lated "hello"!! I have blond hair and I was dressed pretty casual, my hair was just pulled up in two yellow clips and I had on a yellow and red halter top with japanamation on the front. My name is Shawna, this party was soooo great I am so glad you liked it also!! ~peace and livluv~
p.s. Did anyone see the guy with the little plastic green turtle (he made me laugh so hard everytime I saw him it was hilarious how he was just dancing with it like it was real and his best friend)

I just wanted to give a shout out to everyone i talked to at Dynamo. Didn't do much talking (a lot of dancing) but there were some really groovy people there :)
If that one guy that had those really cool glasses that like split everything up in a million pieces, those were just awesome, he also had this little toy that you pulled the string and it like vibrated.
I was totally tripping balls, and it was just awesome.
I was the chick with the blue hair. I don't think I saw anyone else there with blue hair (kinda strange, usually there's lots)
anyways, shout out to j'all that were there :)

I actually really had an awesome time. I heard from so many people that NAF was evil and blah blah. Even though it took forever in the stupid line (it was hilarious, i kept feeling like i was falling down hill)it was still an awesome time. So for all you NAF evil believing people...could you maybe elaborate? i didn't see or feel anything that could be interpreted as being evil or even unpleasant in the slightest.
I don't think I saw you, but there were tons and tons of people there.

i've posted over and over about my dislike
of naf at great length..
i'll sum it up.
i believe that techno-events should be
thrown for the love of the music and
culture, and that promoters should make
an effort to show that they respect the dancers and care about them.
naf to me screams "we don't care" in numerous ways, and i see that attitude
reflected in many of the people who
go there. (not all). naf to me is
the epitome of everything a techno-event
is not about - taking and taking and
giving nothing back.

Really, I'm not trying to start an arguement, but how are the NAF people any different than any other party? It seems to me, anyway, that everyone that throws a party is out to make money and take advantage of ravers. It disgusts me, but all parties (at least the ones that I've heard about) charge an exhuberant amount to get in, and of course the dealers and (especially) the people that go around trying to sell items (like glowsticks) are all trying to make money.
A friend of mine sells glowsticks at parties and makes quite a bit of money every time. I am not happy with the fact that he does it, but everyone else he talks to seems to think its a good idea.
There's no way I could do this because I am sure that I would end up giving all of them away. Isn't that what raves are all about anyway? Enjoying the music and enhancing everyone else's experience.
Anyways, I've had my turn on the soapbox.
I just don't see how the NAF promoters and stuff are any different than any others.
And stuff.

Pshaaaaw.....There is SUCH a difference in the promoters, although no necessarily based on if they throw their event at NAF or not. I've seen some great parties by Taco (2 Delicious) & Eric (Complete Connection & Atlantis), thrown at NAF. Although I've seen more horrible parties there, that are only out to get your money. The majority of the parties that go on there are thrown by money grubbing promoters, which tends to lead everyone to think that this is such a horrible place. Although if you follow your favorite promoters, you can almost be gauranteed a wonderful party, like Inertia Labs, HeathE, Life Justice, Starseed/Seelie Court, SoS Productionz, and Free xone....to mention my faves....
