In desperate need of volunteers! (Over the Rainbow Rave, Olympia WA, May 13th 2000)

If you would like to volunteer for this great event, please contact me @ floodb@evergreen.edu. I'm looking for creative minds who love decorating for the day of the event, people who would be willing to do some part-time crowd control (it's being thrown by washington state $$, and so it's required as part of "staff"), and people willing to help clean up after the event.

Anyone who helps gets into the rave for FREE (a $10-$15 value!) So please, please, please! show your spirit and support for the community by merely giving an hour of your time images/smilies/smile.gif

Well, if you guys want to help set up, you should probably come by early in the evening (around 8PM)...

For those of you who want to do crowd control (this requires making sure that people are chill and having a good time, and checking the bathrooms periodically to make sure people aren't vandilizing) then please be at the event around 9 PM to be assigned to a room for one hour. Of course after the hour is up, you guys can roam around anywhere in the rave you want images/smilies/smile.gif There's four rooms so there will be tons to explore images/smilies/biggrin.gif

For those of you who want to clean up, also be here at 9PM with a valid drivers license or some other useful form of collateral (car keys etc) so I know that you guys are actually going to help take down stuff after the rave, after you party images/smilies/smile.gif

Together we will make great things happen images/smilies/smile.gif

Just to let all the volunteers know, we are going capping the amount of volunteers we have. The allotment goes as follows:

Setup: 18 people
ticketing: 8 people
security: 9 people
Takedown:18 people
