Lighting controls

Hey all, I have some basic lights (american dj vertigo etc..) that I need to mount in a permanent location, I need a way to be able to control the lights (Turn them on and off) preferably from the soundboard area, is there some kind of switch or control box that I need? I don't have alot of experience with this but am deffinetly curius what all you have done! Thank you for your time!

I would suggest going down to Platinum on Cap Hill Seattle, Pike and Broadway, and talk to them about it. Best way I would suggest is a timer, you hook all your lights up to it and it times them off and on. Normal cheapo lights don't have DMX lighting capabilities, and you really arent gonna be able to control them in a super great fashion, but these power timers etc. can really make cool shit happen.
