He was goin through some shit during the time of stompin 2. Djs like you are the reason most guys dont get a chance. your heads get to big and you start thinkin your the best. Dont ever think that you are the best cuz your not nobody is. He hasnt even been playing for a year yet.Yeah you kick ass i love your shit but back off other people and get on your own.

Geez, chill out there. All he was suggesting was that your boy make some cds. I mean it's not that hard, he just records one of his sessions and burns some copies. Basically he just needs something to give to people so that they can decide for themselves. I know all us "big headed" cd making djs are just trying to keep you down, but it's pretty much expected that you're gonna have at the very least a demo completed if you want to play out.

i was implying to the pm he sent me after he posted this.
*Shrug* Then reply through PM, there's really no reason for a public outburst when only 1 other person reading it knows what the hell you're talking about. Just a suggestion...

Biscuit has the right idea tho..... Your boy needs to promote himself out by passing out CDs and contacting promoters, in Portland and out of Portland. Mailing CDs out is one thing BUT he also should personally HAND out his demos at every party that he can make it out to. Hope that helps me out. If you and/or he wants, mail me his demo and I'll give him and/or you feedback on it.

I did the booking behind all this, Send me his Demo, Pm me for my address. Also Rod cause he is a raverbreak god.hah.
And Also Biscuit is a down to earth really cool guy. He does some pretty big breaks shows so try and be nice to him. Everyone who does get the recognition has been doing this thing for many of years and put in a ton of work. Rod for example 17 years, and hes still cool headed.
Can we get some info on the guy?
p.s. He should be writing this stuff.
p.s.s. get out there and start showing noticeable support for the breaks promoters out there. when effort is shown generally it is rewarded.

All I was saying was that he needed to do a little work behind the decks that anybody can see aka a demo, and push himself.
Anybody that knows me (aka, not you) Knows that I am not big headed, and that I know I'm not the best. I have never claimed to be, but I will always try to be! I've only been playing for a little over two years. I've had a lot of love from seattle in that time, but it's because I've worked my ass off, and promoted myself and my sounds. Thats what it takes, and thats what your boy needs to do. Thats all I was sayin, and thats really the bottom line. Like Undecided said, we are all cool cats that were just trying to help you / him out. You've gotta understand that trying to read somebody's emotions on the internet isn't the easiest thing to do. I did the  Thing because putting out CDs should be the first thing you do, and do it the most. Having your girlfriend post on a message board, raving about your skill, while it maybe nice, it's not gonna get you a lot of bookings. I understand you want to help him out and thats cool, but if you really want to help, buy him some CDRs :D
Here is my address:
12520 scenic drive
Edmonds, WA
98026
I throw shows, and if he's got the skills like you say he does, he's got a booking from me. So send me a CD and prove yourself right.

Big up to all the breaks supporters out there.
and ahh... on other issues... wow looks like i somehow got brought up in this thread. umm.. .my only thing i'm going to say is, i've been working hard all summer on my CD and it will be ready for the Krisp2 party. Please people, I speak for myself. Anyone on here that was trying to support me (jersey) I appreciate it but please don't start stuff w/ people (even though you were trying to help) So that's that, I love you all that support the scene and will hopefully see you again soon. Sorry to go on about this on your thread, but that's that. I just saw all of this today for the first time and thought I should say something that is actually from me, and not someone trying to help me.
Hope this event is a HUGE SUCCESS!!
