ARMIN van BUUREN!- Netherlands - Armada, Armind - www.arminvanbuuren.com
You know who he is and you know why he is ranked as the # 3 DJ IN THE WORLD (DJ Magazine). Born in Leiden, Holland (The Netherlands), Armin has been driven to produce music since he first heard Dutch Master Mixer Ben Liebrand at the age of 14. He describes his musical style as euphoric, uplifting, melodic and energetic. At his current young age, Armin's career as a producer, in itself, has the capability to deem him as a global remixing and musical genius of the 21st century. As one of the three Dutch trance figures alongside artists Tiesto and Ferry Corsten, and working with world renowned DJ's like Paul van Dyk, he has produced numerous hits that have made a lasting impact on almost every European Electronic Music Chart since 1995. Some of the tracks you may know include Blue Fear, the Sound of Goodbye, Communication, Touch Me, and Exhale. In addition, Armin's DJ career has been nothing less than phenomenal as he rocks crowds at ID&T, Cream, Slinky, Peach, Dance Valley and Gatecrasher, and in cities like Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Jerusalem, Helsinki, Ibiza, and Moscow on a continual basis. Armin's fan base is unbelievable as aspiring DJ's and partiers alike profess their loyalty to his style.
There is no doubt that this city loves the sounds of Armin van Buuren which is why we are bringing him out for yet another intimate show!

shit. why do they have to do this on a Friday?! It takes 3 hours to drive up there from the time you actually round up your pokey friends and get out of work and stuff. well, i may try to make it. saw him in Ibiza last month and he was awesome. Obviously didn't see him at Element due to his illness.
What time this show start? Any opener worth noting? What's this venue like (how many people does it hold?)

The capacity of the venue is roughly 1000 people. The venue itself has been full remodelled and has multiple bars.

Fuck! i was planning on driving up friday.
how many tix did Clubzone have to sell? if the venue is 1000 capacity and they only sold like 200 presale, then i'm not worried so much. but if they sold like 800/1000 then that is a problem. Anyone know how many tickets were alloted to the door for this show?
chemchem802
10-04-2004, 05:32 PM
dunno about how many tickets are left at the door. the only option i think it to call the club and find out! www.clubzone.com. sucks huh?

Anyone have the phone number for that club? or maybe their website?

10-05-2004, 03:41 PM
i found some places that have tix in store in VC, but they won't let me charge them over the phone. that's fucking lame. what does it matter to them. by the time friday rolls around, they will certainly have their money, and if i don't show, then they still got paid, and could even re-sell the tix again. that's so frustrating.
platinum records is listed on twisted's site as a place to get tix, but they never recieved any. UGH! how can twisted just ignore the entire USA and especially WA area?! WTF?
thanks,
i'll probably end up trying to go anyways.
if i don't get in, not the end of the world =/

armin just selected and mixed those tracks. he only has one of his own songs on that album, burned with desire. you're thinking of 06 - kyau vs albert - velvet morning (aalto remix).
what time does it open/close?
does anyone know?

Armin always looks like he's having a blast. this event was loads o phun. thanks to Twisted for putting it on. the drinks were expensive and weak. The two opening DJs were just outstanding. I love it when the opening DJs are not afraid to fire it up. They gave Armin a run for his money for shure. hey, what was that song that went...
